Ready-made website themes for iWeb.

Overview

The themes in the Themes Box for iWeb are ready-made web design solutions for private websites. They also can be used for small business websites, too. Each iWeb Theme has eight commonly used templates:
  • Welcome
  • About Me
  • Photos
  • My Albums
  • Movie
  • Blog
  • Podcast
  • Blank
Each template is fully customizable, so it is very easy to move, rotate, change in size and opacity or remove every element. Eight standard templates fulfill most users' needs, but if there is a demand for more templates it is very simple to add and adjust them. In addition, every iWeb Theme has unique and astonishing colors, endless backgrounds, amazing elements and high quality icons and pictures.

iWeb. Hmm. Anyone remember iWeb? Oh yeah. It was discontinued by Apple along with MobileMe in June 2012. MobileMe was the only place Apple supported it, back when it was a part of iLife '09. Huh. Well, I hear there are ways to pull the code and resources out of iWeb created pages. Then you could maybe use these templates on websites other than MobileMe. But don't ask me how. Perhaps the developer of Themes Box can help us out.

My iWeb site was uninterrupted as it was always hosted on my own domain. You just click a button to upload, after setting the initial parameters for the host address.

Your ignorance of the product and the application it's used with do not constitute useful information to others. Many people still use iWeb because it is the most usable choice for quickly creating a site. I've tried the various newer applications (RapidWeaver, Sandvox, etc.) and have found none that make me want to abandon iWeb. Unwieldy, inscrutable, and counter-intuitive. I found I could create an entire iWeb site in the amount of time it took to set up navigation links in Freeway. Oh, and the non-existence of MobileMe is not relevant, since iWeb provides its own ftp functions. Easyweb, a purported iWeb successor is promised sometime this quarter. Perhaps...
