Pattern Digger1.2.6

05 September 2013

Manage projects with internal notes and reminders.

Overview

With Pattern Digger you can add special notes to your source code comments and Pattern Digger will remind you later of stuff you need to do. Working on a large project it is quite usual to leave some code refactoring or improvement tasks to be done later, have some code left to be reviewed by your colleagues or just mark some places you still have questions about. Pattern Digger will detect and maintain a list of project notes

After the harsh review which i made earlier i thought i would post another one now that the basic functionality is working. I get a list of all my TODOs and FIXME tags, with a preview inline. a full view of the code with a press of the space-bar, and it will open the file in my editor of choice. This all works in deeply nested set of folders as soon as you save. Although i have only been using pattern digger for a few days, there has been no crashes at all. My only wish is that it would integrate with Sublime Text, so the file would open up within a project and not just open in another window. I will be buying a license now.
