Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery overview

Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery allows you to recover unlimited data without paying one penny, is specially designed for the Mac OS environment, and can be used to recover data or files from HFS/HFS+, FAT, FAT32, EXFAT, and NTFS, as well as other file systems.

Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery helps you recover deleted Mac OS files from any mountable media like your internal hard disk, external hard disk, USB flash disk, memory cards, iPods Classic, etc. It can recover disk data even when the partitions are reformatted, damaged, or deleted.

Key Features:
  • Recovery of deleted files. Even when files are accidentally deleted, the files are often still there, hidden from the Operating System. Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery uses two powerful methods: file recovery and drive recovery to help you undelete your OS X files.
  • Recovery of accidental formatted data. Use our drive recovery method to perform a deep scan, locating your data, and then show you the results in an easy-to-use interface.
  • Recover data and files from your iPod Nano, Shuffle and Classic. Just "Enable Disk Use" to your iPod in iTunes to start immediate iPod data recovery with Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery.
  • Recovery of 'lost' data from your hard disk, even if its partitions are formatted, damaged or deleted.
  • Recovery of data and files from your iPod Nano, Shuffle or Classic. Simply click for your iPod in iTunes to start an immediate data recovery with Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery.
  • Recovery of lost or deleted photos, music, videos, documents, applications from your memory card, even if your memory card is reformatted.

Yeah, unfortunately it won't run on Big Sur. Frustrating, since I'm looking for an app that can recover files from a disk that is seen in Disk Utility, but won't mount. I assume the app is abandonware now. That's a shame.

“Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery” needs to be updated - is the response I got when I installed and attempted to run ''Lazesoft Mac Data Recovery 2.2'' on ''macOS Catalina 11.15.7''. Even though the software is expected to run on macOS 10.5 or later version. Any suggestion on what to do? Thanks

I usually run DiskDrill because it allows me to see files as they're found without having to wait for the scan to finish. Rarely (if ever) have I had to complete a scan to recover the file I was after, therefore it's a real timesaver.

But I decided to try out LSMDR and it was a complete waste of time (fortunately only a few minutes).

It didn't see ANY of the 3 internal partitions, it only saw the external drive that's currently connected. So I didn't even get to begin scanning my computer's HD.

It also doesn't have the standard "About" menu item to let you know which version it is.
