I jumped for joy when I saw this - the instant I upgraded my 15" retina MacBook Pro to Mountain Lion my WiFi turned totally unreliable and I've been cursing Apple ever since. There are a LOT of people complaining about it in Apple's forums. Anyway, despite the image of a retina MacBook Pro MacUpdate is showing beside this update, it is NOT applicable for the 15" model apparently :-(. Presumably it's just the 13" model, or if not then the picture shouldn't show a retina MacBook Pro at all. Oh well, back to my cursing...

Try turning off bluetooth, my rMBP has significant interference between 2.4Ghz wi-fi and bluetooth, I found disabling bluetooth or forcing only 5Ghz access points the fix for me...

Thanks for clarifying that the 15" rMBP isn't supported, Apple tends to be a bit ambiguous in their Knowledge Base articles. I presume it's just the 13" Retina and new iMacs that this update applies to and so I've updated our requirements and screenshots to make things a bit clearer :)

I thought it was obvious that this update is not for the 15" rMBP: he picture shows a 13" rMBP (compare to http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/ ) and the latest 15" MacBooks are "mid 2012" models.
