This could be a very useful app, and for the most part it is, however there are several bugs in it that make it very annoying. For one, when I go to Exit (which this app uses instead of Quit), the app will NOT quit. It also uses the delete key exclusively instead of the backspace key as well. When I open the "preferences" (which are also called something else) there is NO way to close the sheet that slides down to change them. If they put more attentions into these things I would use this. Pretty much not usable right now unless you change the way you work.

FYI: The application was forked by a new maintainer, and you can get more recent releases here: https://github.com/prikhi/pencil/releases Isn't opensource wonderful?
