If anyone has worked with MTS files with only the MTS files and tried to convert them, then you know what a challange this can be. Clients give me just the MTS files on a thumbdrive and this is the best app I have found to convert the files.

It's really good. No watermark on output video files. But there is no FCP or iMovie output format. I've emailed to ask how can I get FCP and iMovie acception, just buy Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter.

Superb free software package for Panasonic M2TS video conversion. I have a large number of M2TS clips from my old Panasonic camcorder. These are easily handled by this package and faster than the original Panasonic software did. Recommended. Thanks Guys - nice one!

Yeah, this works well. No more mucking about with VLC, Handbrake, Miro, Compressor or whatever this just deals with .mts files very nicely. Interface doesn't look very mac-like, but in practice works as expected, drop files in, check settings, hit convert. A pause button as well.

Let me try again. Does this app allow ripping TS video from a DVD into another format? It's a family video on DVD. Just trying to convert it to grab a few clips. I tried MPEG Streamclip, but it doesn't recognize the file either.

I downloaded and tried to import footage from a family video on DVD. It is a TS file, but the converter doesn't recognize it. I get a message saying the format may not be supported. Does this program have the ability to rip video from DVD?

It will not install on my QuadCore G5, which is PPC and runs 10.5.8.

I'm always amazed to discover a freeware that works perfectly when the other payingware crash or fail!
My goal was to convert .ts (h264) files to something like .avi (opted to Xvid for maximum compatibility).
I thought I found the holy grail with iSkysoft Video Converter but it stopped in the middle of a conversion saying kinda humorously "all conversions were successful except for the ones that has failed"! ;-D
Media Converter is great and 64 bits but has very few settings.
Now I've found this and it's quite perfect! The only feature I miss is the target size (say you wand to fit CD or any other given size and the software would do the calculations for you).
Well, for a freeware, I'm really impressed, and as it is quite fast too, I just have to test a few settings to find the good one.

Worked perfectly for me. I used it as a remuxer. I had a m2ts file that wouldn't work in other remuxers, so I tried this and it worked! This app has LOTS of great presets, including a remux section. Try it out!
