Remove Redshift sandbox folder. Run Terminal and type the command:
sudo rm -Rf ~/Library/Containers/com.usm.Redshift

Then try to start the app. If this won't help remove the app manually:
- remove sandbox again (even wrong start of the app can create it)
- remove /Applications/Redshift folder
- reboot the system (to clean possibly cached info about the app)
- try to reinstall from the App Store

I have removed the majority of this crash report. Please do not post crash reports or console logs to the MacUpdate listings, but send them directly to the developer.

I can't figure out the version scheme. I bought version 3 a while ago, and did not upgrade to version 4 when you (Maris) bought it from the previous developer. Then your company said you had shifted to the Mac App Store and to buy from them. On 5/21/13 the Mac App Store said: "Redshift - Astronomy: Version 7" which I added to my wish list. Now the Mac App Store says version 2 (dated 9/26/13) is just released.

7 down to version 2? Can you please explain all the versions?

The last Redshift version for PowerPC Macs was Redshift 3 in late '90s. Redshift 4...7 are Windows PC software only.
The new program for iOS/Mac app stores is named "Redshift - Astronomy" and the latest versions are: 1.8 for iOS; 2.0.1 for OS X.
There are currently no troubleshooting comments. If you are experiencing a problem with this app, please post a comment.
