Easily add watermarks to your videos.

Overview

Video Watermark, from Matchwood Studio, is a full-featured yet easy-to-use video- and movie-watermark app which can be used to overlay a digital watermark for video protection or place a logo for branding your products. Video Watermark is the only viable and affordable watermarking solution on the Mac platform.

Video Watermark can help you easily add simple text or professional image watermarks to videos and movies with a wide range of image formats such as BMP, GIF, JPG, PSD, PNG, ICO, and TIFF, etc. You can also fine-tune your image watermarks by applying various image effects such as image color controls, opacity, sharpening, pixellatation, and sepia-toning to easily make a professional watermark in no time. Once you are satisfied with your final results, you can then choose to export the video to various major formats (AVI, MOV, FLV, MP4, MKV, M4V, etc.) using done-for-you presets.

What's new in VideoWatermark

Well, it works but the quality of movies is not on par (read: the same) as the source. Very probably this app uses ffmpeg -sameq ,hich does not garanty the same quality. Anyhow, there are other apps (IFFmpeg to name one) that does this too cheaper or even free. Just too expensive in the end.

I'm trying to batch watermark a stack of low resolution .mov videos and this program keeps on crashing. Even if I just upload 9 files, it can't handle it. Waste of money.

Tried to add a simple small watermark to a mov file and it worked fine. Quality seems to be ok. Basically when you need to add watermarks to movies this can do the trick for you.

Thanks for being our first reviewer. Although not something we're craving to hear, it's still better have than never :) We didn't choose "ffmpeg -sameq" because it often results in overly large video files. And we strive to find the balance between quality, file size and encoding time. We would like to listen and improve our software constantly, so if you don't mind, could you please let us know which video format you were trying to convert to in order for us to better understand the issue? Thanks in advance.

The MacUpdate admins must not like this author or software. I click on the visit developer site and nothing happens.

Hi LizBo, Thanks for the comment. From what you described, I'm guessing it could be a glitch on our web server. The MacUpdate support team have actually been very responsive and friendly in helping resolve our last issue. Anyway, we will definitely look into it and I appreciate you letting us know.

I hate to be "that guy", but the one-line description below the title makes me wince. Please fix it.

The plural of "video" is "videos". That was my point. Sorry to be a spelling/grammar nag.

Ah, you were referring to the description line here on the MacUpdate page. We thought you meant something wrong with our website :) Yes, we are bothered by that spelling issue too. But we aren't able to change that as the description line was added by editors from MacUpdate. Although we've contacted their support and hopefully they can help correct the error soon.
