iPastels overview
iPastels Pro simulates soft (chalk) pastels, oil pastels, and color blending as realistically as possible.
The pastel medium has been around for several centuries, with roots as old as mankind. An ever-increasing number of artists have since discovered the rich colors and expressiveness of pastel painting.
This app will let you create beautiful digital works of art, especially if you're a talented artist. If you're not, iPastels will keep you entertained until you become one through practice and experience! Simulating soft (chalk) pastels, oil pastels and color blending, the iPastels app tries to be as realistic as possible.

Improved
- The paper texture is now adjusted with two sliders: A Visibility slider that determines how visible the texture is on a blank paper (set to zero for a digitally ‘clean’ paper), and a Depth slider that determines how much the texture will affect the painting strokes.
- The tool size indicator ring is now optional and can be replaced or complemented with a text displaying the size in pixels (Settings button -> Toolbar -> Tool Size Indicator).
- Some minor adjustments.

- Some help/tip messages that were supposed to point at specific buttons failed to do so.

Version: 4.1
Por alguna extraña razón, no logro activar la aplicación. Todo está en pantalla (tengo una MacPro), pero el Canvas está en negro y no imprime nada. Se mantiene siempre en negro. Use con mucho disfrute el programa hace un tiempo pero ahora me sucede esto. ¿Alguna razón, algún cambio en el App reciente? Agradecería mucho su respuesta.
