I guess $10 was their first release price. Now it's $15.

Good thing is: they have a 10th aniversary sale going on at: http://rogueamoeba.com/store/deals/TenthAnniversary.php and Piezo is down to $5!

Must say that I'll have little use for it, but this thing looks so good I'm tempted.

A good little app, only one feature I would like, being able to pause a recording instead of having to stop and start a new one.

I owned Audio Hijack for years and since it's no longer supported and I can't use it with my Mountain Lion install, I was looking for something (didn't need Audio Hijack Pro (well, I could use it; but for me, the price isn't worth the extra features (most of which I don't need))) of equal audio quality and simple usability. I bought Piezo on a quick review and it's great, except for the lack of a "Pause" button.

Beyond that, I like it a lot and have had no issues with it's output quality, setup or use. For $10, you're getting a great product!

I tried this in 10.6.8 and it works very well with no apparent CPU problem. I tried recording audio from my notation software that uses high-end samples too.
The price is excellent.

Can't schedule a stream recording. I have to use Audio HiJack Pro for that. Don't see a use for this without that feature, although it's priced right.

A countdown timer before recording starts, analogous to Capture > Timed Screen in Grab for screen captures, would be a useful feature.
