This app parasite affiliate code. The thought to let you conceal an affiliate cord and be parasitic is unethical without stating the price of application clearly.

I'm just curious here: What does this Client actually Map in terms of Prices? My Significant Other and I have Two different Amazon accounts - Mine's at Home and our other account is in his Office. I've noticed that the Same Product will have Two, sometimes Very Different Prices at the EXACT Moment, depending on which Account we use. We've been on the Phone and looking at the Identical Product with the Identical URL Product Number (sans the User code that Amazon throws in there) and the Prices were Vastly Different sometimes.

Doesn't work for Kindle books. That's the only thing I would have used it for.

I love this utility! Works great and is easy to use. I suggest a way to clear the price decrease list. It becomes very crowded. A dot does appear next to the latest price change. But once a price drops (even a penny) the item remains in the price decrease window.

Yeah. Another Lion-only app. Darn it, I love Amazon, and this app looks so slick. I so wanted to install it... Oh well. Someone posted a suggestion for an alternative under "Similar Software", and I checked it out. It's now called "PriceWatcher for Amazon" (previously "AmazonWatcher"), and can be downloaded from both the MAS and the developer's website (the website version is free but you can only watch up to 5 items at a time; nice pricing policy if you decide to buy from their website). It's working on 10.5+ (I just installed it on Snow Leopard, the main window is not an eye-candy, but the functionality is good, and I like the menubar icon and the alarm sounds).
