Browse over 26,000 different plants by their scientific name and common names. View information such as water usage, size, and sun requirements. Most have a short description of the plant along with cultivation information, common uses, and any problems they may have. Each plant entry includes beautiful pictures. You can also add your own picture to each plant. Additional plants and images are added periodically for free!

These advanced technologies are very important. For example I live in Australia and it is helpful to know that a tree or plant is deer resistant - to hell with kangaroos. Deer resistance v Kangaroo resistance - these are important technologies only available in the latest Mac OSX.

I'm wondering the same thing. Running 10.6 on all our Macs and would love to have this for our landscaping and organic vegetable garden. 8-(

Yes, there's a technical reason. The reason is that the program takes advantage of technologies not available in Snow Leopard (there are a huge number of such technologies).
