From what I've read on the website, this app does very little. You have to do all the hard work of making the epub folder. All this app does is ZIP it and change the extension to .epub. It DOES NOT do anything useful like convert PDF or TXT to epub.

Forgot to say that sigil works wonders on epub documents without having to use any sort of unpacking, etc. program(s) https://code.google.com/p/sigil/ btw, giving a straight 2.5 stars for epub packager because I haven't downloaded, bought, installed or used it.

That's the purpose of this application. So that if someone has made ePub file and maybe later on wants to make changes to it, he or she can easily do that without all the hassle with command line packing and unpacking of ePub files. It's not meant for converting files into different formats.

I agree with the developer. You don't have to mess with Terminal, and you don't have to remember or navigate to your current work directory. Drag, drop and you're done. Well worth the measly dollar, especially with validation built in.

The easiest way to get into an epub (into the envelope) is to change the .epub extension to .zip and then unzip it....
