Because of this split it is quite easy to change a whole website interface design with Salt in just a few minutes. The template system used in Salt is very different from iWeb, Rapidweaver, etc, in the way that it only comes into play when webpages are exported. Huh? Go to http://saltapp.net/contact.html and find this:

----------

Contact ipSoft Ltd.

ipSoft Ltd. is a company registered and operating in Iceland.

----------

Seems like ipSoft does have a website after all, regardless of the domain name. Anyway, the website is not very confidence-building for a website development app.

ipSoft owns and runs these sites but they are not ipSoft´s homepage.

I would also like to point out that Salt is not a visual designer tool for websites. It´s main purpose is containment of website texts allowing for a rapid change of website visual design. It´s a DB of website texts.

As for the look of saltapp.net, thanks for putting forth your point of view, it has been noted.

I never criticized how the website looks, only it's navigability which _is_ part of what Salt does. It looks fine, as far as I'm concerned, but getting around the site is really inefficient. Whether this is due to Salt's menu generation or just poor usability design I cannot say. Either way, it's a turn-off.
