I don't use this app but I was curious so I gave it 5 stars ONLY to balance the mistake that Kris made by giving it a .5 If there had been more reviews I wouldn't have bothered but at the beginning an accidental bad 'review' can affect the apps exceptance if someone doesn't read the apology. Hopefully this sets it straight... neutralizes it.

Oops. I clicked 5 stars by accident. How can I undo this rating?

I'm also donating 5 stars to make up for a failing by MacUpdate.com. Come on, MU webdevs! We should be able to modify the number of stars AT LEAST until we click submit, and maybe even afterwards. The idea that a person has no way to click the number of stars they intended is ridiculous. This is one of those things that not only should be improved, but was always obviously wrong when it was first built.

What I've learned to do is to copy my text to the clipboard just in case, and if I make a mistake with the stars I close the window and then start a fresh review, pasting the text from the clipboard.

MacUpdate just added the ability to edit your review of comment's text. Being able to edit the star rating is coming down the pipeline at a later time. We wanted to get it out to you faster so we released it with text support only first.

I think people purposely make those "mistakes" so they can drive down an app's rating without taking responsibility. It's really not very hard to click the intended number of stars, and if one clicks wrong, he need only start over. The fact that someone is posting at all is proof of sufficient cognitive powers to avoid an "accidental" low rating, since rudimentary internet skills are needed to register here at MU.
