If only the dev had a way for me to buy a license without having to use the MAS - to which I do not have access. :-(

Honestly folks, I can't see how anyone would even bother, considering the name itself is misleading. MenuTab? Really? Why not just call it FaceTab? Oh, sorry, considering what's in it, I suppose that would have scared people off to quickly before the developer got his/her ad revenue.

It was called FaceTab, but it's a trademark infringement considering it's not an authorized extension of Facebook.

What a rip-off!! In spite of having paid €3 for the "Pro" version this program in order to avoid the advertising, it still shows the advertising column, which takes up more than one-third of the page. I know it's the pro version because I deleted the free version, plus Apple's Mac store confirms it's the Pro version that's installed. Want my €3 back! Can I charge the developer €3 for my having to put up with the annoying ads before I finally uninstalled it?

This is a pretty good app. It's very handy, clean, and easy to use. If you're an fb addict like me, this will totally do the job. It gives quick access to your facebook, has a sleek interface, and it's free! What more could you ask for? It does freeze on me from time to time, but it doesn't bug so much.

The description says FaceTab is "absolutely free", but the "Price" line in the Information area says $1.99.

There is a FREE version "FaceTab" and then there is a PAID version "FaceTab-PRO". Just like they have in the iOS AppStore, many apps come in FREE & PAID flavours. The difference between this one seems that there is no advertisements in the PRO (paid) version.

Technically this app is "freemium". Essentially you can get the app for "free" but it's crippled and doesn't have the more "advanced" features which are definitely not free. Depending on how it's done, it may (such as in this case) leave a bitter taste in customers' mouths.
