How TidyTop Works: - TidyTop moves all items from your desktop into an archive folder which is still accessible from the Finder or other applications. No data is deleted. You can even keep multiple archives and restore them to bring the items back to your desktop, preserving their icon locations.

This app, regardless of its high ratings in the App Store, hasn't been updated since April 2011. Should that concern me if I'm considering to purchase it?

It's now $2.99, not .99. Is there a way to implement a feature where only specific file types are moved? For example if I want to sort only image files, or only PDF files, etc.

Another "hide my desktop" application, thanks to the stupid App Store. How many there are now of these? Just download the free DesktopUtility if yo want to hide your desktop items for presentation.

Great utility, I discovered this over at the Mac App Store, but then saw it here. TT works very fast, I don' tknow how he does it. Kudos to the dev! I'd like to see a few more options (like scheduling), but for a 1.0, its really well done.
