This app has not yet been updated to protect against the Sparkle updater framework vulnerability that was discovered in Jan. 2016. Apps that use a vulnerable version of Sparkle and an unencrypted HTTP channel for server updates are at risk of being hijacked to transmit malicious code to end users.

Interesting little app, but not worth the pricetag of $20 USD. It needs to take cues from ArtRage and SmoothDraw as well as make the experience simply more professional. Lots of UI/UX things that I'd clean up. Has potential to be a real gem, but at this point it's just a toy.

I completely concur with the potential of this posting . I immediately ran into a print when one of my programs Devonthink asked me if I want to remove its input item when Ink2Go was full screen. I couldn't confirmed the request with out having it additionally turned into on-screen text.
Receiving the the help as a presentation document caused some problems since there are many tricky problems when dealing with the processes.
They also confused what I gave as my registration name so I could not sign on as purchaser even though I went through the full Macupdate procedure.
So what it comes down to is a program with considerable that never completely cleared beta presentation.with considerable potential that has yet to clear beta, which should be sold at the discount I received to prompt further comments.

This seems to be the most complete app for marking up and recording what you do over other apps. $20 is a fair price to pay. The others, that I could find to not do as many things. However they NEED to add text (in some format) to their non-standard icons to show what they do. I haven't spent the time to figure it out yet. and its stopping me from settling on this app permanently.

This had all the promise of what I wanted - a quick and easy way to make simple mark ups of screens, documents, emails, etc to send back. Unfortunately it fails in virtually all respects, to the extent it does not crash, it fails to 'work' on half my programs (eg will make no notations whatever) and for those in which it will make notations (for example on a reply email), the actual email does not have the markings - only the screen does! Text appears virtually at random and can not be moved. If there are 'solutions' to these problems they are completely non-intuitive. I don't have time to work around what seems to be a complete kluge. Save your money and look elsewhere. I would give it a lower score if I could. Now I trash it and move on. M

I use it and take a screen grab (using Voila). †he screen grab shows the ink2go writings over whatever is on the screen, so this serves my purpose. Using Voila is a VERY EASY way to make and access screen grabs, much easier than using the built in apple system where you have to go the finder, find the grab. Also voila allows you to export your GRAB in many formats. However, the ink2-go interface leaves a lot to be desired and I can't say whether it works or not all the time, but it seems fine to me, other than I don't understand their symbols which are not explained anywhere so you DO have to spend precious time testing and figuring out what each symbol does. I won't spend that time either, so I am also looking for a clearer app. Know one?

Hi, After trial (developers site) i purchased this nice app via MU Promo. I had problems to register my version. So i wrote to the developer 2 times to find help. Every time i had a response within 24 h ! The app works very fine, is really very amazing, and i am very happy to see what i can do in a very, very simple way with this nice app. For me, for my use, it is a little pearl that I found on the Web ! Thanks to the developer ! F Rol (France)

I'm very surprised that this little tool didn't get any review. So here's my contribution. Ink2Go is a nice tool designed to draw on your screen, in any application (including Keynote or powerpoint), to make effective presentations. A white board mode is available. It can record your screen (very basic feature, but enough to record a presentation). The video quality is average and "jumps" when screen is getting filled with the drawing tools. But for 20 bucks, you've got a nice little app anyone can pilot from his mouse or keyboard. Efficient, cheap and RAM friendly. Very good!
