ACTPrinter overview
ACTPrinter allows you to "print" any document from your Mac to another Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPad running ACTPrinter. ACTPrinter running on any of these devices can also send PDF printouts to printers connected to your Mac or Windows PC.
Please note that ACTPrinter for iPhone and iPad is a paid application. ACTPrinter for Mac and ACTPrinter Win are available for free.

Sidecar Printer is a driverless alternative (AirPrint-compatible) for printing to iOS devices. It even supports printing between iOS devices.

Really great!
Even better: Use the free PDFWriter http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfwriterformac/ as default printer, open the PDF in /Users/Shared/PDFwriter with ACTPrinter with help of Hazel, move it to trash, also by Hazel and let Keyboard Maestro wait for OK and click OK!
Very few hands on and clicks to get all prints to virtual print-out.

This is a useful addition to your iPhone, but stability has always been a bit of an issue with larger PDFs. The Mac-side of the software (which is what you are downloading here) has always worked very well for me though.
