Guess the developer needs to update this already to match Obama's view of the country and it's "57" states. So what are these 7 new states he spoke of Iraq, Iran, Korea, Pakistan, Afghanistan...

This is a nice little application as long as it is being directed by an adult. Otherwise the child, more specifically MY CHILD, will give up and just start clicking around to get the YES reward. If there were only a quiz mode that allows the 'teacher' to limit the amount of tries before moving to the next state then tally up which were right and wrong for further study this would be perfecto. Still, this application delivers a lot and I can see this being projected from a laptop to screen or direct to monitor for interactive play/learning. The only odd thing I noticed was that the application will ask the child questions like: New York: Which is? And that's not the best English. Perhaps this could read: Which State is: New York? or Click on: New York

Would be nice to be able to hide the state info (the text) so one had to guess which state is which.

Oh, how embarrassing - capital is correct because it's not the building. I wish could edit that post. Since the other error is fixed, I'll post an actual rating.

My original comment was about version 1.0. Version 1.0.1 corrects the capitol of New York, but still misspells the word "capitol" as "capital" (which I noticed after my first post). Otherwise, a nice, free application.

I downloaded this app for my children, but it shows the capitol of New York to be New York, not Albany. I haven't checked all 50 states to see if there are more errors. The developer's website keeps throwing 504 time-out errors, so I have been unable to contact them directly.

Seems O.K. to me. Shows Albany as Capital of New York. Does wants claims to do. A nice freebie.
