Prefer/suggest the newline character in the OPML output file be changed from CR (pre-X Mac OS convention) to LF (OS X convention).

Done. Get Version 1.0.1 directly from my website until MacUpdate updates the listing here.

Thanks, Thomas.

The older Safari2OPML app (referred to under OTHER PEOPLE SUGGEST) is convenient for exporting all feed URLs (including empty folders). Your app is useful for exporting specific ones. Ideally one app could serve both purposes.

I believe I had tried the other solution, or the script it was based on, and found that it doesn't work with current Safari any more: It did list old bookmarks from an older Safari version.

I was trying to avoid to have to do the same, i.e. figure out Safari's internal storage for bookmarks. That would not only have been more work but also would cause a potential conflict with a later Safari release again.

You can, BTW, browse all RSS bookmarks in Safari if you follow my instructions: Safari has a view where it shows them all in one list.

Oh, turns out that the script you pointed out is different from the solution I tried. The Safari2OPML script appears to take a saved Safari Bookmarks file as input, which is hopefully less implementation dependent than the one I tried -- which is the one pointed out in the Google Reader FAQ (http://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/googlereader/faq.html) and which is here: http://dcostanet.net/wordpress/2005/06/13/export-safari-rss-feeds-via-opml/
