StreamRipStar overview

StreamRipStar is a cross platform Java GUI for streamripper. The StreamRipStar / streamripper combination allows you to rip multiple MP3 radio station streams to your hard disk. Streams are auto split into separate songs and tagged automatically.

You will need to install the streamripper program. (An easy way to do this is via fink or DarwinPorts).

Superb alternative to Radiolover or Xstreamripper. Java based but with a nicely done interface. Very low cpu/resource requirements - no problems whatsoever leaving this running in the background ripping my fave internet radio stations. Good timing since Xstreamripper no longer works in 64-bit Snow Leopard. I was looking for a replacement and this showed up. Highly recommended. A well earned 5 stars.
