DPS *used to be* a great plugin for enhancing audio system-wide. However, it appears to have been abandoned by Bongiovi Acoustic Labs (Bongiovi). It started becoming unstable on macOS Catalina, wherein all audio output stopped on a sporadic basis. Killing and restarting app, or unloading/loading the kext were the recommended solutions; neither was an ideal one.
Bongiovi made some half-hearted attempts at correcting it, but still doesn't have a working solution. There was an updated 2.2.5.1 release in December 2020, which also didn't work. Bongiovi's response was to "roll your installation back to a previous working version (2.2.3.1)". They've also stopped responding on their support forum.

Did not use it on my Mac due to missing quality speakers. But I use Bongiovi in JetAudio on my iPhone and it's a huge improvement. Don't wanna miss it there. It makes music a whole new experience.

As of August, 2018 they have moved to a SUBSCRIPTION system of payment. [Expletives deleted] "Starting at $2.99/month." You can download a 30 day trial. Customers who purchased before August, 2018 can continue to use the app without a subscription.
Personally: I don't do subscriptions and never will. There are some exceptions, such as critical professional applications upon which businesses depend. I find it disturbing that Apple is pushing developers to move to subscription plans for more minor apps, such as this. No thank you. Consider my interest killed.

Used it successfully in the past, but program failed after upgrading to OSX10.14. Installed 2.2.0.9:
1. blocked by Little Snitch due to invalid signature.
2. No audio unless Headphone OSX setting.
3. Headphone setting disables Bongiovi.
Netnet: Bongiovi no longer fails on launch, but is unusable on my system.
Installation asks for keychain access - no explanation. Have abandoned use. Overall, my experience reflects poorly on developers QA and usability / user friendliness.

Major update Major issues,
this latest release, has a BIG codesign issue (installed on 10.12.6) apparently caused by google analytics framework..... NOW why the hell is that necessary for an audio application??
obviously FORCED to rollback to previous version all is fine
please show a little of respect towards those who paid and supported your work, google is NOT our friend...
