With Auto shot on, mBrowser will automatically take a screenshot of the movie you've dragged and dropped onto the movie drop box. Then click on Launch to open the selected movie with a default application or click on Play to watch the selected movie directly through mBrowser's own movie

It's a joke. Don't waste your time with this. Despite what it says in the description, it does NOT play most of the filetypes listed, especially .swf.

I'm confused. Above, it says the license is Free, but on the website it said something like $25. Please clarify.

From the developer's website:

"For those who want to support the development of mBrowser, an advanced version is available. For $24.95, you will get the following extra features.", etc.

Oh - thank you. I was surprised I missed that. I guess the type on the website was so small, I missed that part above the box.

What this means is that the developer is playing the scumbag game of listing the app as 'Free' even though some of the advertised features are only available to those who pay for the advanced version. For me, that's grounds for boycotting their apps and slandering their name at every opportunity.

We are soon to introduce a new freeware title called bkBrowser. You can compare mBrowser with this new software title and see which is better in selecting a profile. I bet mBrowser will prefer bkBrower. We will probably fix mBrowser accordingly. You can read more news on bkBrowser at http://machouse.mhvt.net/?p=1480.

What kind of crap is that? These two apps have absolutely nothing in common. You just posted that to get some free advertising, never mind that you sent a hundred people to a nonsensical website for no reason. Well, at least you can add them to your already lengthy but still growing list of enemies. Jerk.

It looks like a website called FreeMacWare (www.freemacware.com) claims that they developed mBrowser by giving it their own icon. Their website introduces mBrowser while it doesn't bother to mention who developed it.

You must be wrong, because why would anyone want to claim authorship of this piece of crap?

The next update is dedicated to JAZZYGUY. I was about to quit working on this application since there was no feedback from users. I imagined that nobody wanted it. Then I decided to continue working on it a little further after reading his or her comment.

v. 1.4.2, which is already available at our website, supports URL movies, movies that are streamed at remote servers. It also supports 3GP and 3GP2 formats for Auto shot.
