I found Waveburner Pro a fantastic program for creating Redbook CDs. It's very easy to use and I find the Plug-ins most helpful, especially the Multi-band Compressor.

I use this program mainly to make Redbook CD's. I do not master with it because somehow using Plugins it get's rather unstable. Learning curve was pretty steap and the interface could be simplified in my opinion.
