This looks like a great app, and I haven't used it enough to review it. I would however like to point out that if you actually want to publish your games, it is free as-in-$99, rather than free as-in-free.

Not the most robust visual coding app out there but it has come a long way. With a monthly subscription attached to it though it is one to avoid since it'll cost you more than anything else out there in the long run.

Although there are a few extra costs you need to meet if your going to be a full blown app publisher, this is a great program to get started with one of the easiest game development platforms available right now, worth downloading and there are lots of templates to help get you on the right track.

No--that's a different cost, so you're more misleading than the description not mentioning the developer app store membership fee. The application is free, selling applications on the App Store is not free. $99 and then 30% of your sales. Don't nit pick on someone if you can't even get it right yourself.

As Paul noted below, that's not a GameSalad fee. But it's worth noting that GameSalad will insert ads into your game if you use the free version, and these ads will likely get your game rejected if you try to charge a fee for it on the app store. So you are essentially downloading a demo, and need to pay $300 for the Pro version (yearly) if you want to actually publish ad free games (or earn money from the ads).
