DataCrow overview
DataCrow is the ultimate movie and video, book, images, games, software and music cataloger. Uses online services (Amazon, IMDB, and many others) and parses file information (MP3, DivX, etc). Highly customizable. Loan registration. Comes with an optional Web module.
What’s new in version 4.1.1
Version 4.1.1:
Fixed
- Upgrade process; saving icons to disk was only triggered when upgrading from version 4.0.16 or older. This step will be redone with this version.
- Password could not be changed after setting it for a user.
- For both the server and the client, a different database (as supplied with -db:) could not be used.
- For reports the images are now scaled to allow for a maximum dimension of 200x200. This to reduce the size of the images and subsequently the report as generated.
- Quick search doesn't work when a quote is in the search value.
- Editing a item "as new" disallows deleting images.
- Play length (duration) incorrectly displayed in the table view.
- The Metacritics.com online search engine did no longer retrieve the title.
Changed
- The French translation has been improved. All thanks to eReFBe!
- The Softpedia search engine and the Sourceforge.net search engine have been removed. Unfortunately the implementation no longer holds. Each site update is potentially disruptive to these service since there's no web service to get the information reliably and in a structured manner.

Dear MU and/or Developer:
Please either delete the screenshot above or insert one that will actually enlarge to an image larger than the thumbnail rather than smaller. As it is, this image is useless.

So this doesn't add any metadata to the media file, right? It reads your media to get its name, then gathers info about it from online sources and then organizes and contains that info within itself, no?

This does not appear to be a Mac program. What I downloaded contains an ".exe" file. Um, this IS MACupdate, right?
