Minitube is a YouTube desktop application. With it you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, Minitube gives you an endless video stream. Minitube aims to create a TV-like experience. It automatically plays videos one after another, so sit back and enjoy.
By consuming less CPU, Minitube preserves battery life and keeps your laptop cool. That's because Minitube takes advantage of QuickTime and does not use the Flash Player. Minitube plays HD videos up to 1080p. Go full-screen and watch them play smoothly.
With Minitube you can search by keyword, search YouTube channels or just paste a YouTube URL.

Minitube has been hit or miss lately. Some of the problems have been related to YouTube, some to the App. Currently, this 3.6 update does not work for me. Keep getting a JSON error. Reverted back to 3.5.1.

Great application that I have been using for more than 5 years. Please note, however, support for 10.6 was dropped with version 2.5.

This software works but is akward to use: a de facto search listing that is permanantly stuck on the left, with video snapshots first, INSTEAD of video titles. A simple list of video titles would be far more useful than this clutter!
The option to download a video is no longer available and the nag pop-ups for the demo does not help when the demo is for 20 days, as it is.
