Space analyzer for Feng Shui consultants.

Overview

Twenty-Four Mountains is software designed for the professional feng shui consultant. It generates a map of the dynamic energies that are present in your client's space using classical Compass School Feng Shui techniques. This meta map is clearly laid out over the imported floor plan and with the ability to remove or add any layer of the map and change its opacity, you can clearly see what elements are and are not working in your client's space.

Main Features:
  • Calculate the center of a floor-plan.
  • Export the generated map to be used in your own reports.
  • Import multiple floor-plans into a single document for locations with multiple floors.
  • Calculate the flying star and BaZhai of a location instantly.
  • Calculate the Ming Gua for occupants of a location.
  • Accurate calculations for both the northern and southern hemispheres.
  • Includes a reference panel with enhancements for various stars and BaZhai portents.
  • Customizable BaZhai colors.

http://www.skepdic.com/fengshui.html It's a nice scam, ultimately, feng shui. But a simple, well-thought-out design is totally possible without using any of its supposedly mystical tenets. It's the astrology of architecture. The homeopathy of interior design. In short, it's bogus charlatanism, but, hey, it's your money.

Obviously, the author of this application can't make any $$$ performing Feng Shui consults. so he/she/it/they had to write a very poorly created and executed application that does not follow the Black Hat or compass advisory processes. Maybe the next time they buy Cherrios they will get a auto mechanic license! And I concur with the rest of the commenters - overly priced!

I would like to start off by saying that I am NOT a feng shui consultant. I made this application during my wife's F.S. schooling after watching her plot out the same maps by hand using pencil and paper. It was designed to accurately plot the map over a client's space by using the compass reading. This is especially useful for larger structure where sighting might not be practical. It saves her time and $$ and we thought other people might find it useful so we released it to the public. Writing this app consumed quite a bit of my time and I priced it comparable to similar F.S. apps in such a niche market. I do not intend to make a living on it and I am interested to hear what you would consider a reasonable price. I am also happy to hear more regarding how the implementation differs from what you expected, and I'm always open to expanding it further.

$119.99 huh? Well, until my stimulus grant goes through, I guess I'll just have to muddle along with poorly placed furniture.

...for less then 200$... I wouldn't say "it's crazy" (except the price which feels very misplaced in this and all other universes) but this reminds me at the one and only true thing in my life which is: " ". Inner Peace comes from ... gnahh ... inside :) (wisely guy I am)--if you don't have any peace there you won't get any more thru moving your table to another place.
