Overview

wxHexEditor wxHexEditor is another Hex Editor, build because of there is no good hex editor for Linux system, specially for big files. It supports files up to 2^64 bytes. Written with C++/wxWidgets GUI libs and can be used with various OS'es such Mac OS X and Windows.

Like the description says, this is a hex editor. If you don't know what that is, you don't need it. Seriously, it's primarily a tool for developers, although it can also be used to "crack" applications in order to pirate them.

Version: 0.11 Beta
When searching for a hex value (I think “3C 3F“ is a valid search) a pop up window says it’s not a hex value and hangs. Must be force quit.

OS X 10.4.11 Intel supported, but not OS X 10.4.11 PPC? The majority of OS X 10.4.xx users are PPC users...
