SoundTap overview
SoundTap is an streaming audio recorder for OS X. It allows you to record nearly any audio played on your computer. The audio is "tapped" by a virtual audio driver within the kernel so the result is perfect digital quality.
Perfect for recording online conferences, VoIP calls (where legally required) and more.
Features include the ability to pause recording, automatic recovery from broken streams, recording to MP3 or WAV file formats, and the choice to listen to the audio stream while recording or to record it in silent mode.

I haven't tried this, but given that Audio Hijack Pro comes in at $7 cheaper, I'd like more info. as to how this program might be better. I've had very good luck with AHP.
