Makes my MP3-file-handling much more easier! Pretty cool software since many years, thank you to the programmer.

Warning: If you just want to try it out. This App tries its best to avoid removal or quitting. It has no Quit, no 'About' Box' that tells you what it is called. It has no preference to choose if you want to start it when logging in. You cannot remove it by dragging it out of the Menu Bar. The only way I found to stop it was through 'Activity Monitor'. To stop it from starting when logging in you must go to 'System Preferences/Users&Groups/Login items' and remove it from the list. It has no Dock icon and can't be 'Forced Quit' by bringing up the 'Force Quit' list. It is very persistent to stay running and not very friendly when trying to exert control over it.

Menu bar of control, rating only does not work.

Amazing stuff! Very useful. I recommend it. Just want to see a fade out track window feature (doesn't work for me)

this app is unbelievable amazing with a well done widget for the notification center. it is so smart. the info here is wrong. the current version is 3.5.

Don't know about MassiveLyrics but this is what has worked for me always. Outstanding app. Thought of trying ML on a experimental basis! Guess I'm gonna stick with TIM.

Great app! :) I just would really like to see the possibility to set the position of the title info window free where I want it to be, just like the lyrics window. :)

Actually, I must correct myself. It is possible to download this from the developers site without making a donation. Just click the big icon on the download page. So, comments about the donation being compulsory taken back. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't click the icon as there is nothing to show that it is the download link. It's now version 3.3.

Well, now I tried to make the donation I see that it seems to open a European PayPal site where I do not have an account. I'm not sure what is happening there because the PayPal site is all in a language I don't understand and I could not see any way to change it into English. So, I guess this is a deadend for me unless the developer or anyone else can enlighten me as to how I might proceed.

There is no direct download link for this program. The link above redirects and opens iTunes and then iTunes Store where there is no mention of this program (at least it does on my system). If you will vist the developers page there is no direct download link for this program either. The download link reveals a link to PayPal to make a donation. So, it is compulsory to make a donation in order to even download this. It is therefore not free and there is no trial. It could be describe as compulsory donation-ware. I am total for donation-ware, but this should not be listed as "Free", and the download link on this page should be removed. Because of the high ratings I suppose I will donate $1 in order to try it out. I don't know if I'll make it back to to donate more even if I find it to meet my needs perfectly. I think I would be far more likely to promptly donate at least $10 if I find it to my liking if there was no compulsory donation to begin with.

Its implementation on the menu bar is ingenious; when the lyrics appear, you'll find it on the lower left corner, where it's also out of the way. Performance is fast, and it's easy to use. Getting the lyrics is another thing, though LastFM would seem to be a necessity.

Its many other features may be available through Doug Applescripts, but it is the only working lyrics fetcher for the time being beside the complementary (Intel only) Massive Lyrics. It's even found lyrics for a 70s Italian band, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso. I don't know if Massive Lyrics would be as successful on its own, but it's found some additional lyrics. All the others are worthless in my experience.

This isn't a free application. It's donationware and should be changed on the description. This appears when you try to download it: "Unfortunately the past showed that the amount of downloads and the use are disproportionate to the donations. Still I am against a commertial distribution and appeal to the honesty of all users." So, what about all the users who tried it and trashed it? I'm sure they make up a good chunk of the "disproportionate" ratio of downloads to donations. You think I'm going to donate just to try it? Yeah, right.

This application is amazing - I have used it on my entire library 15+ thousand songs and it did a great job. The developer just updated the lyric site that it uses and I went back to recheck all my music and it found many that the previous version didn't find. If you are OCD about your iTunes library - then this is a great app to have!!!!

So far so good - working on putting lyrics into my library. The only thing is I wish the help website for this app was in English - not just German. My German isn't what it used to be.

This makes a lot of normal tasks really quick. My iTunes library is much more organized now.
