Unbelievable! Chronos- how could you?? Version 1.1 never worked correctly. It was bug ridden. For instance, 1.1 promised plain text paste but it never did work. Now you say this is a "new" feature in 2.0 and you charge for it. Chronos is an unethical developer that charges upgrade fees for bug fixes! Just go and check out the reviews of SOHO Notes and SOHO Organizer.

I'd had this on my Mac for quite a few years. It worked well. It saved me time. Then I got a"New Version Available" notification. Yippee! Unfortunately, when the "30 day free trial" ended I discovered the problem no one told me about, Chronos was no longer supporting the app, but there was no way to buy a license for the newer version. So now I can't use the app, can't upgrade it either. What a clusterf**k. Fortunately, I was able to use an uninstaller app, and they do have the old versions available on the Support page. Also, I have an app where the License Key for the old version is kept. So at the end of the day, - good app, lousy support.

I've tried many a Clipboard manager,, and the combination of Library, custom naming and sets for history and other features really sold this one for me! Now the latest news is it doesn't work in Mojave, 10.14.2 (my version). So I decided to trust my instincts/voices that told me to dig back in the archives and try a 'legacy' version. So I did ...and IT Works! Now using verxion 3.0.6 [Which can be downloaded from the chronosnet website.] Woo-Hoo, back in biz.

As iClipboard appears to be dead, I like to point a few things out about iClip (which is my product): • iClip can import your clips from iClipboard. See http://iclipapp.com/help/iclipboard.html • iClip is nearly identical in features to iClipboard. • iClip is more configurable (hot keys, hot clicks for almost every operation). • iClip will be updated for 64 bit (see beta page where it'll become available first for testing). • Contact me (support@iclipapp.com) to get 50% off if you have a iClipboard license.

I have been using iClipboard for years but after the Mojave update it would no longer launch. I thought that perhaps I needed a to update iClipboard as well so I paid again for a download. It does not launch either and after two attempts with support and no response I'm moving on to something else. Beware.

I have never, ever received a response to a support request from this company. I like iClipboard, but their service is terrible--and most of the products not updated or up to par.

Rather than rate the company, as everyone below is doing, I'll rate the actual product: I personally find it best-in-class for this kind of software, and I have used pretty much all of them. iClip is fairly close, but it irritates me by not responding to double-click on a copied item to paste it; you have to click on a tiny little arrow icon instead. With iClipboard you just double-click it. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that the app is fairly unstable. I sometimes have it crash multiple times per day (though sometimes it also runs all week without dying). However, I haven't found iClipboard, PTHPasteboard, ClipBuddy, etc., to be any more stable. I'm sorry that there's some kind of problem right now in getting the 6.0 version (a quick search shows it on at least one BT site, if you're willing to go that route), but I already downloaded it, and it works very well for me. I tend to agree with complaints below that, as just a bug-fix release, it should have been free (and been 5.something, not 6.0, since it added no new features). Same goes for it suddenly not being available from the author's site, after people have paid for it (we often need to re-download and re-install things). But that's nothing to do with how good this is as a piece of software, and it's darned good. I had a utility like this way back in the day under MacOS 9, and really missed it when making the jump to OS X, and had missed it every single day until I started using iClipboard, back around version 3 or whenever it was that I first found it.

So Chronos lists iClipboard as no longer supported on their website here: https://www.chronosnet.com/downloads/old At the top of this page is this disclaimer: "Chronos does NOT sell licenses to older versions of our products because they are no longer being actively developed (no more bug fixes, improvements, etc.). We make these older versions available for current owners who need to reinstall due to hard disk crashes, accidental deletes, etc."

When iClipboard is working well, it's a great product. Just be aware that when there is a problem, there is also;utely no help available from Chronos. They do not reply to support questions. They say the are going to, but never do. Extremely poor customer support. There is no phone number to call. There is no other way to get help.

I own and use version 4. I paid for but found v. 5.0.0 UNSTABLE and submitted two support tickets in Nov-2014 and NEVER got any support. NONE. Went back to using v.4 with only an occasional problem - it would quit running and vanish with no error message. But with 30 days to test 6.0.0 at no charge I've downloaded it to two 10.11.4 Macs and immediately note it still has one of the EXACT SAME problems 5.0.0 does: when I reboot I get a message warning me there is not enough space in the menu bar for iClipboards icon. To this error message (as in the past) I say BS - my main screen is a Dell 32" 4K display with lots of free menubar space. The other is a 15" MacBook Pro Retina. I believe the developer never learned to program for UHD and Retina displays. Another reviewer here referred to v6 being a paid bug fix from v5. Well - at least one major bug is STILL HERE. For me - as long as v4.x keeps working Chronos won't get my $$$$ (see my new vs upgrade pricing comments here as well.)

iClipboard looks very nice BUT I just can't use any clipboard manager that does not support Illustrator content. Actually there are many clipboard tools available that don't show you the copied content from Illustrator (only: the SVG source code). So I stick with Copy'emPaste and PTHPasteboard.

There is no discount to upgrade! Price for a new single license is $9.99 and the upgrade is $9.99 Family pack new: $14.99 and upgrade price is $14.99 So Chronos would rip off previous owners by not offering any discount. Bet they will raise the new prices to fix this...

Zero fixes to 5.0.0, zero response to problem reports, and now they release 6.0. My recommendation, instead of buying this product, is to just take the money out into the street and set fire to it; it's faster and has the same end result.

I've gotten an email from Chronos trying to get me to upgrade to the new version 6. I still have un-answered support requests from Dec-2014 about version 5 not working. And I've been using version 4 with El Cap with only minor issues. In 18+ months not a single update to the unstable version 5.0??? Now they want $$$ for a new whole number version 6.0. Why would I want to give this jerk company more of my money?

I have been using iClipboard v5.0 since it came out, and I have never found any bug and never had to contact the support because there was no need for that. A User Guide is available directly from the Help menu. My system version is currently 10.10.5 (Yosemite). I'm neither going to comment on the company's support, which is apparently non-existent, nor the price, because I actually got iClipboard as a birthday present from a friend. iClipboard, SOHO Organizer and SOHO Notes have all been discontinued, so don't expect any new versions of iClipboard. It's a pity, because from all the clipboard managers I have tried—and they are many—I have found iClipboard to be among the best. Copy'em Paste has a similar set of features, but lacks sounds and the comfortable way to edit clippings that iClipboard offers. If you have copied some text, you can edit it in a TextEdit-like window with an advanced formatting toolbar; this enables you, for example, to color parts of the text, underline it, change the alignment, etc. You can't do that in Copy'em Paste. Both have one glaring omission. If you copy text from a Web site, the URL is not preserved, so if you don't work on the text right away, you will end up with a lot of snippets and have no idea where you got them from.

I have v4. When I tried to upgrade, the upgrade link wouldn't work since I purchased through Macupdate. Since it wouldn't work with the information, I submitted a support ticket. The initial one is going on 20 days plus, soooo filed another after about 15 days. That one is going on 5 days plus....and the only question I am asking is how can I give you more money to upgrade!!!! Can't imagine what kind of response people get when they actually have a support issue. Now I question my desire to upgrade and continue business with this company....

You can look at my Comments for iClipboard 5.0 from 9-Dec and 22-Dec about new problems I have reported directly to them and now at 36 days I've had no reply back via their web site support ticket. So time for a review. iClipboard 4 was great - I found it functional (multi levels of clipboards and had no issues with it.) Along comes 5.0 and immediately I have two very serious issues which I copy/paste here from my 9-Dec comments. 1 - I have iClipboard on the left of the screen. iCB also opens if I can anywhere in the Finder along the left edge. It does not require me to click the iCB TAB itself. I've noticed the area that causes this is dependent on how tall the iCB tray would be when open. The shorter the tray the shorter the area along the edge that causes it. VERY intrusive bug. 2 - iClipboard 5.0.0 shows the error "Menu bar is currently too crowded to display iClipboard icon" each time I restart my MacPro 2013. It also shows the same error if I do not have it start at login and then manually launch it. I use a 32-inch Dell UP3214 UltraHD (4K) display so my menu bar has tons of blank space. NOTE: this same error shows on my 2012 MacPro Retina. #1 is a real PIA causing me repeated times of having to close the unwanted opening of the sidebar. #2 I can live with. But to get no support after 36 days is horrid. They claim 48 hour response but do not do such. I would still give the app 5 stars for doing what it claims but will deduct 2 stars for the bugs and 1 star for the non-existant tech support.

I reported the following 2 problems 15 days ago via the Ticket process at Chronos and have heard NOTHING back. The first bug one is very irritating! Anyone else experiencing these or have a solution? Chorines: How about some bug fixes??? Or responses to Tickets???

Upgraded to 5 and have some problems, so I filed a Customer Support ticket. As of today: Being Processed since last 15 days 6 hrs You get NO SUPPORT from this company. Version 5 didn't add anything to 4 so it was a wasted update. It does add issues that you would think would be addressed in the preferences, but are not (like popping out at all times you are near the edge where iClipboard is). I liked 4 but 5 is a pain. If I could get support, maybe the problems could be fixed. But with ZERO support, I give up.

Unfortunately, the product doesn't work with Adobe InDesign (CS6). No matter which clipping is selected, it pastes the most recent one (which is exactly what the standard Copy/Paste does anyway.) I imagine that this is caused by InDesign itself, which often doesn't play well with non-Adobe software, but it makes the iClipboard purchase pointless for me, as pretty much all my work is in InDesign.

I won't give it a star rating, but I own this and the main reason I don't use it is the heavy-handed interface. It's just too much and needs to be simplified. The fact that every single clipping has to have a row of icons under it is just interface overkill and slows production down rather than speeds it up.

Overall, I've been pretty happy with iClipboard, but the changes to version 4 were a mixed bag. Some of the changes were great, while others were a step backwards. Allowing the use of multiple "projects" is a great idea, but in practical terms it really doesn't work. When you're busy working on projects, you don't have time to think about changing your iClipboard settings every time, so ultimately you end up with a whole lot of unrelated clips in one place. That wouldn't be so bad if it worked like older versions, where you could protect clippings. But removing that option to permanently protect clippings was a huge step backwards. Now you have to delete all or manually remove what you don't want. That's really bad. Manual removal takes way too long. One saving grace is that when you name your clippings they aren't automatically deleted when the time limit is reached. But it's not as good as it used to be in that regard. Clippings don't always work. Far too often I've had to click the "Edit" link and re-save an older clipping before it will work again. Doesn't matter if it is set to plain text or rich. But in terms of how the app handles plain vs. rich text, version 4 is an improvement. The newer version does a better job of memory management, with much more stability. But it is a bit slow overall. Even deleting clips takes at least 2-3 seconds each (on a new Mac Pro no less), a lifetime in computer time. When deleting clips with complex formatting or foreign characters it can take up to 8 seconds, which I consider unacceptable. And during the deletion process, iClipboard freezes up so you can't scroll or do anything else in the list until those seconds are up. This is cumbersome.

Tried them all and keep coming back to this the current 4.10 really works well and reliable ram usage has gone down. Will go down more if the paste blaster is turned off. Mine sits around 20-30 meg ram. It is fast and having the shelf as a floating pallet with a key stroke is excellent for heavy duty pasting. I do a lot of graphic and text work and this had not let me down with the v paste problem fixed I give it 5 stars

From when i upgraded to version 4, iclipboard disappeared. No way to have it back. It is on, as it is the option to have it visible, but whatever i do, i can not access it again. And when i try to disable it, that's what its control panel says: "Make sure all dialogs with the service application have been dismissed, then try disabling again". I probaly will downgrade to version 3, that worked very well ....

My review is for version 4.01 only. I have to say I like this app or at least I did. Actually it does what it says and works consistently. My main complaint is with the current version. Every since the last upgrade each time you delete an item from the list you have to confirm the deletion. I understand this and it's intention but it should be something the user decides is necessary or has the option to turn off. As it is currently it makes the app an inconvenience and as annoying as hell. If this is not fixed soon I will be looking for a replacement. It's really a shame too, because this is a really good app and the developer should have thought of something this simple before pushing in on users as this behavior was not in previous versions (including version 4.0). I have looked in preferences etc. looking for a way to disable this behavior with no luck. What an oversight!! They need to fix this as soon as possible, this is supposed to be a time saving app not something to make my workflow more difficult!!! CHRONOS ARE YOU LISTENING???

iClipboard is truly an eye candy, but it felt a little heavy-handed to me. It's a matter of personal taste, but I felt this app had too many bells and whistles. The clip drawer that had been added to the edge of the screen felt a bit too much. Also, I was unhappy to discover that iClipboard added individual clips to Snow Leopard's services menu (after installing and using iClipboard for a while, some of my services disappeared from the contextual menu, so I opened System Preferences—>Keyboard—>Keyboard Shortcuts—>Services, and found that each of my iClipboard's clips was added to the services as "paste [enter clip name here]", or something along these lines. I understand the logic behind it, it's meant to enable the user another method of pasting clips, but personally I'd rather not have individual clips added to the services, either checked or unchecked, and I didn't find how to turn off this behavior). Many will appreciate this app's extra power-features and its lovely look. There's a myriad of pasting options, such as Paste Blaster for fast pasting, and more. There are clip previews. Also, being able to assign clips to different projects will appeal to many, as well as the ability to rename clips. However, iClipboard just wasn't for me. I was looking for something more lightweight, while still being able to save selected clips as snippets, so I ended up installing ClipMenu's latest developmental version 0.4.4a12 (which offers cosmetic improvement over ClipMenu's "official" version - the snippet editor has a separate window), and I'm pretty darn happy with it; ClipMenu is now my default clip manager and I'm done looking for replacements. Is iClipboard for you? The only way to tell is to try it out, I guess. Head over to the Chronos Web site and download a trial version.

The description for this app and the use of the 64 bit logos are pretty misleading. The main clipboard part of the app might be 64 bit but it also has a system preference component to it that is not 64 bit. So every time you want to change a setting for the app the system preferences app has to relaunch in 32 bit mode.

iClipboard needs at least some documentation. I read about all its great features here, but upon downloading the app, it was unclear how to use the features or even what all the features were. Paste Blaster? Apparently iClipboard has some vaguely pornographic function, but heck if I know what it is. I went to the Chronos website and found user manuals in the support section, where there are manuals for iClipboard versions 1 and 2, but nothing for version 3. Seriously? No Help viewer or manual for a $30 clipboard app? Even a short readme file should suffice for a clipboard app.

It refuses to install and when this is reported to their Technical Support people, they are worse than useless. Their attitude seems to be 'Oh No! How could anyone dare to criticise our wonderful product!' and they take it personally if you say anything negative about it - such as 'I am having a problem.' I have decided to ditch this completely after 8 frustrating weeks of trying to get it to install. AVOID BUYING THIS. Chronos you should be thoroughly ashamed. Disgraceful.

I am thoroughly impressed. I've gone through a plethora of different clipboard utilities, including: Clipboard Evolved, ClipMenu, Clips, iClip, Jumpcut, Stuf, and PTHClipboard. iClipboard has the features I want in an intuitive, well designed, and attractive interface. There are many customizing options to choose from, but they are not overwhelming, and there is no bloat. There is plenty for keyboard enthusiasts or those who prefer mousing around (I am the latter). I had not used iClipboard 3.0 for more than 10 or 15 minutes before hitting the purchase button, and there is no buyer's remorse, just pure delight.

I know you're supposed to click the "stamp" icon to paste items, but I don't like the icon bar that appears directly over the thing I want to paste, which completely obstructs my view.

I am trying this out again and I must say this is working really well it is fast similar in concept to iClip 4 but way faster and more responsive with a clean interface. The price is not that much different to say copypaste pro a $20 dollar upgrade. Have found it very stable no pauses even when copying very large clips on a Leopard G5 1.8 dual 7gig ram

I'm so glad version 2 has been released. Version 1 users like myself can upgrade at only $14.95! Fantastic, I can buy the same application again at only half the cost while receiving less than 10% of the benefits. Thank you but No!

I like the concept. The stated functionality is appealing and lead me to download and install iClipboard. Now on every restart it wants to install the preference pane. Unfortunately, it will not actually do so. Instead it errors and must be canceled. I would really like to see this work. I like the feature list but for now I'll stay with the tried and true iClip even though it has gotten really long in the tooth.

Based on long-standing bugs in SOHO notes(and to be truthful, Notes has always been buggy), Im clearing a wide birth between my downloads folder and iClipboar2 and other chronos products. The latest iClipBoard gets rave reviews for outstanding marketing and publicity. And their GUI is impressive. Even the eye candy makes my click-to-puchase mouse finger quiver, but as tempted as I am to try it - it's the tech support/Adam that I have lost any faith in. Don't expect a streamlined process to submit your tech requests, or a polite offer of help, and certainly don't expect timely support. I sent them three urgent requests over a period of several days before receiving any acknowledgement. I don't know if they are understaffed, poorly trained, or have no undertanding of "customer support" or just not very talented. But I won't buy any chronos products in future as a result of a buggy SOHO notes and (non-existent)support.

This should be a free update. I purchased iClipboard and used it probably one time. I have no problem with Chronos and their other applications. I did wait many years after using Chronos Consultant under OS 9 and SOHO Organizer 6. I even got a free upgrade to version 7. I probably should have done the same with iClipboard and waited until version 3 or 4. Version 1 was pretty bad. I'm not upgrading to version 2. PTH Pasteboard is still my choice for a clipboard application.

Ok, now this app has become more of a hindrance than a help. Since following the suggestions of chronos support, iClipboard no longer copies text using edit in the menu. Also, I had about 90 clips which have all seemingly disappeared. The duplicates in SOHO notes - some of the text clips have overwritten others. A big mess all round. So, I have to revise my earlier review and give this 2 stars. I certainly won't be using iClipboard until it's much more stable and so doesn;t interfere with my workflow.

In order to reply to the response from support, I have to submit another question on their website - this is irritating and I should be able to reply to the email sent by chronos support. The suggestions - delete app, reinstall, delete pref files etc. and try again makes no difference. Yes I can edit a clip of text in iClipboard if I copy it from a text editor, but that's it - all other clips cannot be edited.

The strap line for this product is, 'The ultimate clipboard manager'. Unfortunately the marketing people haven't used this app because even they would baulk at this claim. 1. You cannot move clips between Projects. 2. You cannot select non-contiguous clips. 3. You cannot select, delete or paste multiple clips. 4. You cannot edit clips. In short, you cannot manage clips. It stores a clip history that can quickly become unmanageable. 5. It is buggy. 6. It is beta ware that is being sold for $20 until 2008 and then they want $30 -- for a beta! Yes, put the product out to get feedback and free beta testing but charging for this turns my stomach. It has a pretty, eye-candy interface. Unfortunately, eye-candy has become the software panacea for substance. There is a long way to go for this product to live up to its claim.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. All of the feature requests have been noted and we're starting to work on some of them. We'd also like to point out that LEO SPILL's request (B) is in the software but we forgot to mention it in the documentation. Simply hold the Shift key down when you click the Paste button to paste rich text as plain text (no style). -Adam The Chronos Team

Well after a couple of restarts and a response from the developers all is well. I have iClipboard preferences back and iClipboard working again. A) I still would like the option of control clicking and removing multiple clips simultaneously. B) Paste without style - option is a must. C) A paste everything option. There is a clear option why not a paste everything to an RTFD file option. This could be transferable from one machine to another ? D) A contextual menu item to copy text from any application into a project draw would be useful. E) Real editing from within iClipboard ( iClip does this well. ) - If a clip was copied from Safari the clip opens in Safari and is not editable. F) ... and a Move clips to individual projects option. It is a slick entry into the pasteboard application arena and hopefully will continue to improve. Disappointed that SOHO Notes owners have to run it concurrently with it's own limited clipboard feature and pay through the nose for it. iClip 4 was such a major disappointment and iPasteboard while free for basic cut and pasting is $24 for pro features and butt ugly ( but does work well ). This is well worth a try if you have the time and energy to Beta test and figure out any problems that may or may not pop up. Hopefully this will be less of a risk with each new release.

I have other Chronos products and like them. This, however, has a ways to go. I too had the stuck Edit Projects window problem in 1.02. This should not be happening. When viewing a large clipping, like an entire web page, the scroll bars don't work for me. This is critical, because while the preview is nice, it's really what distinguishes this app from iClip. Frequently I get no response from the program when I try to get a preview. I certainly hope they fix the problems, and I'd like them to extend the intro price till they have things right. I also don't quite understand why this integrated in SOHO Notes capabilities, since that app has a similar clipping feature.

Nice attempt trying to fix "the problem that would cause the Edit Projects window to not work correctly if hiding was enabled in the iClipboard preference pane." Did any of your QCers try moving the mouse around randomly to see what happens?

Well I am still having problems after installing (1.0.2) I have removed the (.plist) from Preferences and checked the iClipboard Preference Pane and it seems to be the problem. The iClipboard prefPane is only an alias ? Upshot is I still can't access iClipboard Preferences. At the moment iClipboard is taking up the same amount of RSIZE ram ( 44Mb) as DevonThink Pro and 2.99Gb of VSIZE ? ) Like the last reviewer I can't always access the clip I want - Seems to get stuck on first opening the iCilpboard tab - sporadic but still a problem. My requests apart from resolving the issue with the applications preferences would be the ability to reduce the vertical screen space iClipboard takes up and the option of control clicking and removing multiple clips simultaneously. An option to move a clip into a different project rather than 'cut n' paste'. Lastly an automatic close tab option ( this may already exist but I can't access the preferences to be sure ? ) I am also getting a little weary of being an unrewarded Beta tester.

OK, forget it. I have uninstalled this app for the last time. After running for 15 minutes it crashes and burns. I had to force quit it and I am through with it. This is alpha-ware folks, not even beta yet. I hope that they can work this out because it does have promise, but it is terribly unstable and not suitable for any workflow. My review below was based on too quick an assessment and I apologize for posting it without further testing.

OK, I give Chronos big kudos for promptly fixing the problems I listed in my last review. However, there is at least one new problem, while not a show stopper is a pain. If you are not really careful when editing the projects screen it will collapse into the side of the screen and it does not spring back out when you mouse over it. If you are using the default right side this makes it impossible to close the editing dialog box. You have to open up system preferences and move the iclipboard to the left side in order to close the dialog box. Chronos developers: just disable the collapsing while the editing dialog box is open and that will fix the problem. And one feature request: please allow dragging into and out of iclipboard, that would seem to be simpler than the current system of clicking the paste button (which doesn't always show-up by the way). Still, great response time and good work so far.

iClipboard is working without a hitch for me now. After a rocky start, which was brief in any case, this version of the app has hit the mark. I appreciate the fixes put out by the folks at Chronos. They were quick to respond to the problems and the inconvenience on my end was minor. Give iClipboard a look.

I can't get this thing to even work on my system. It took one clip and that was it. No more clips, no paste, no drag and drop, nada. I also don't like the fact that they have an easy way to buy the product but NO way to report problems. You have to sign up with their web site to ask any questions or report any trouble . I am doing that now and will report on the response i get.

I tried to like this app, I really did, but it doesn't work at all. Running on my MacBook under 10.5.1 with all current updates, it doesn't do anything that it is supposed to do. The hide feature works so well that you can't get the app to slide out from the side of the screen at all. The click preview/hover preview doesn't work at all, it always uses hover no matter what preference setting you use. And on top of it all, no matter what settings you have enabled the app will just stop working after a minute or two. I do like the basic design of this app. If it did what it claims it will do I would buy it. I have added it to my "watch list" so that if the developers fix it I will try again.

Well this second ( 1.0.1 ) release seems better but now I can't get the preferences to show ( On clicking the preferences option no window - all other windows open, licensing etc..). I also noticed that RSIZE memory is about 28Mb but the VSIZE is a whopping 2.93 Gb what's that all about ? The site seems to have been updated to show the difference between SOHO Notes and iClipboard which is a bit of a swindle for registered SOHO Notes users. They have less features and if they want iClipboards extras they have to pay for it and run it concurrently with SOHO Notes ( Chronos sticking it to their users ) Very disappointing customer care/public relations.

although I have not tried it (truth in posting) yet, I will be - lots of potential here for a great product. This looks like what I always thought iClip 4.0 (which was release Jan 2007 and no updates or news since!) was supposed to be. (guess iclip spent too much effort on making their weird porthole data (non)view windows...) Do they have a special low price for cross-grades from disenchanted users of iClip?

There is a problem with the "Edit Projects" option when hiding option is selected. After selecting "Edit Projects," when the box pops up, there is now way to keep it from hiding whenever you move the cursor around. This makes it impossible to edit projects.

Hi Everyone, First, thanks to everyone that has tried out iClipboard. I wanted to give everyone an update on the various problems that have been reported: 1. A project not able to accept more than two clippings. This issue has been fixed. 2. Creating a project and the resulting name getting set to "Untitled". This issue has been fixed. 3. The Grab and Paste functions not working. We are investigating these two issues and have narrowed down the problem. We should have them fixed by the end of the day. We're hoping to release an update (version 1.0.1) either later today or tomorrow. Feel free to contact us directly with any other issues you may run into at the following URL: http://www.chronosnet.com/Support/ Thanks in advance. -Adam Chronos Team

I also own cuteclips , ipaste, iclip, copypaste - I used copypaste exclusively in Tiger, however in Leopard copypaste has become unreliable. Emails to support at copypaste have gone unanswered. iClip doesn't display rtf in Leopard, some text is randomly unreadable and the app randomly crashes. So I took advantage of the discount price and bought iClipboard and it's the best of the bunch - it does exactly what it promises and everything I want it to including pasting clips into text editors etc. Very pleased with iClipboard.

What is the difference between SOHO Notes clipboard feature and iClipboard ? Surely SOHO Notes has iClipboard built in ? Or is iClipboard somehow more versatile/different ? Or is it just that you don't have to have SOHO Notes running in order to use iClipboard ? I wish Chronos would be more enlightening with it's product releases.

I ran into two problems when attempting to set up projects. First, the program would not remember names assigned to projects -- after assigning a name, the project name would reset to Untitled. If a second project was then added, the result would be two projects, both named Untitled. Secondly, although the All category would accept additional clippings, none of the newly added projects would accept more than two clippings. These seem to be problems that should have been caught prior to release.
