Rediscover songs that got lost in your iTunes Music Library.

Overview

Discover Lost Songs... Rediscover music that got "lost" somehow in your iTunes Music Library. Most of us organize music in iTunes through playlists, right? Over the time you create playlists and put songs there and of course delete older playlists to clean the mess up a bit. What happens with these songs? You can search every one of them in iTunes, of course. Most of the time you won't even know that these songs still exist.

But what if there was an application that would bring back all of them with just a few clicks? Well, that's when Discover Lost Songs comes in place. It finds all the songs you ever wondered where they got, you can simply drag and drop them back to playlists in iTunes and finally create a playlist from the rest of it. It's really that simple.

All of us connect songs with memories. Imagine re-discovering songs that tell you memories you didn't remember for a long time. That's when you hear that song and it brings the time back for a moment.. Whether you miss some songs or you are curious now - try Discover Lost Songs.

I don't understand what this does. I ran it and up came a list of 1600 songs. Each and every song is in my iTunes library, is sitting on my hard disk and is available to play without any extra work. The description is very unclear. What exactly is a "lost song" - a song that's not in a playlist? A song that's in the iTunes library folder structure but not in the iTunes playlist? At the moment, it's a mystery what I'd be paying for.

Hmm, the only review for this is two years old. And as far as I can see, the program still doesn't make any sense. I ran the demo and it came up with a list of well over 14,000 "lost" songs out of the 20,000 in my library. A quick glance through their list seems to indicate that these are anything but "lost." So, what is it this does?
