Ignatius is a new chess client for the Mac.

It has nearly every feature BlitzIn, the Chessclub's native windows client, has! And more: premove, a rating tracker, different board styles, completely customizable console, multiple piece sets, a seek table AND graph, and a "buddy list" style notification list!

Ignatius is released under the MIT license. Ignatius is named for Ignatius O'Reily from "Confederacy of Dunces," since I feel like a giant dunce when I play chess.

It is Ignatius that is surrounded by dunces in the Confederacy of Dunces. He himself is not one.

The title comes from Jonathan Swift quote: "When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him."
