Amazing Maze overview
Amazing Maze is a generative composition environment that creates an astounding sonic cosmos by manipulating sampled instrumental sounds. It takes advantage of composition algorithms that have been developed by Karlheinz Essl since the 1985 years. The realtime generation process can run automatically, but can also be controlled interactively by the user.

An odd little sound program, but don't let that put you off. there's nothing for you to do/interact with, other than listen. all the sounds are built in. open the app and it runs automatically. the choices you do have are simple to understand, and are fun to play with.
letting it do its thing in the background as you potter about the house, or tinkering with options are equally valid pastimes. outstanding work.

Great little app. I am an e-musician and if you really get into that scene, you see that it is all dominated by the 'tyranny of the groove'. So much crap in 4/4 time, loop-a-dupe....It's just really refreshing to hear the intelligent chaos this software produces. I feel my sonic pallette cleansed. And to be able to have a hand in controlling the unpredictable results! Yeah, I'll throw out a web of unpenetrable, post-GarageBand soniphrabletonica!
