Chimey does one thing and does it well: It plays clock-style chimes every 15 minutes on your Mac.

Sure, your Mac tells you what time it is, right up there on the menu bar. But it's nice to be reminded of the time now and then without distracting you. Chimey provides a subtle reminder of the time.

Chimey comes with a selection of pre-recorded chimes, or you can use your own custom sound files if you prefer. Rather hear your dog barking than chimes? No problem!

Appalling customer service. A month with no reply whatsoever, despite several reminders. Avoid them like the plague

At both 3:45 am and 6:45 am, this program woke my computer out of a sound sleep -- and me out of a sound sleep -- to ring the 45-past-the-hour chime.

Guess what got tossed in my Mac's trashcan this morning? Just guess. Come on. Bet you only need one.

While it works fine, it's still a one trick pony. For just $7 more, try iClock. It's got configurable chimes, too, and a whole lot more; I think iClock is much more useful, and also a much better value.

"ABOUT THIS DEVELOPER
I actively respond to user feedback"

That's what the profile say. But another three months and no response. Guess it's Abandonware.

Macupdate emailed them on 22nd November on my behalf. They ignored it.

I've used their websites 'Contact Us' form for the second time just to send a duplicate.

I've tried to contact the developers three times (twice with email, once with their websites contact form) asking if I can get a replacement licence file. It's been two weeks and they have yet to reply. Anyone suggestions welcomed. Thanks
