Photopolis is a new way to experience your photo collection.

Photopolis extracts the date you took your photo. Then it assembles the photos that were taken in a week as a "house". Out of 4 houses a months is created and so on. The result is a checker-board arrengement of houses in a city. The straight streets represent years, the cross streets months. Because of this arrangement you can for example view your Christmas photos of all the years by walking along the "December" street.

There have been some installation issues, that are resolved by a newer Installer. Please try again.
Please also note that depending on the power of your Mac it may take a short while to actually see the city.
Have fun!

Ok, clever concept, but how do I navigate thru the city? There's no README, no help file, and no information at the website.

You can move through your city with regular ego shooter movement keys (WASD + mouse for looking). For a help screen press F1 in the city application!

e.g.:
Press W,A,S,D for movement.
Press q for speed mode.
Press SPACE for jetpack mode.
Press m for map mode.

Have fun!
