For those of you wondering what happened to this application, I am sorry to say that it has been discontinued.

I became too busy to continue development of Ivy and so therefore am pronouncing it, as much as I dislike the term, VaporWare.

However, for those looking for the same functionality, please check out Artwork (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/26056/artwork). It's got most of the functionality of Ivy, with no bugs. It's also being developed by a dear friend of mine, so go and show him support on his first public app.

Dan
Developer of Ivy

P.S. Please don't take this as plugging Artwork, I'm merely trying to make up for the fact that I can't develop Ivy anymore.

that isn't state of the art technology...I came up with that for Play MiniTunes/Play LiteTunes except mine works a little more efficiently...don't steal ideas and credit them as your "state of the art" stuff.

There is a confirmed bug with the Curtain feature on Intel computers. The way of determining the users screen size doesn't work. This will hopefully be fixed in the next RC, or at the least, make Curtain work on Intel machines.

Sorry for the trouble,

Dan

alright here is my feedback:

the curtian is a cool idea if you dont have front row, but it doesnt work at all. doesnt show current song playing, doesnt show switch. just the rating (which is odd)

the window is a little big, i really dont need that much space just to state the artist.

there is no search button, i really think it needs a button to open and close the search window (which does work well).

also, right off the bat there is an applescript error (as mentioned below) and it refuses to work without growl. i dont use growl, i wont use growl, so an option to just skip the whole growl thing would be nice

thanks for trying, a little work and this application would be some hot stuff. peace

sounds like a good program, but judging from the screenshot it could use some space efficiency. its too big and obtrusive for what it does

Sit Back, Relax - You don't have to use Front Row to have a good time with friends. Use the Curtain feature to hide your cluttered desktop, or your top secret business plans. You'll get info on what's playing.
