Overview

Delivery Status displays delivery status of packages for a variety of shipment services.

Can't wait for your packages to arrive? Don't waste your time checking the site constantly, just open this all-in-one delivery tracker and enter your order number or tracking number. The status will update automatically for you, and even count down the days! It also works with Growl to give you pop-up message, email notifications, and more, whenever your package status changes.

I love this app. I don't use Dashboard often, but when I do it's because I'm checking delivery status or adding a new shipment to it. The ability to sync between my iPhone and Mac with these apps is wonderful. I do most of my ordering via my work or home Mac, but I keep track using my iPhone. This app is THE best way to track your shipments hands down.

I really wish they'd make this into a regular Mac app rather than it being a Dashboard widget -- nobody I know really uses the Dashboard anyway even though it is still included in Mac OS X… Other than that this is great software and especially useful when you set it to sync and then have all the information available on all devices…!

This is one of my favorite dashboard widgets! It's so easy to track packages from ANYWHERE. It even supports Amazon directly - just enter the order number and your email/password. I've never had any security issues either. Also I love getting notifications when packages are almost due, and when they have been delivered. I also use their iOS app on my iPad and it syncs beautifully with this dashboard widget.

I've been using Delivery Status for years. It works flawlessly for all the shippers I've ever used, except for some private delivery company in China. I like that it's a widget, so my deliveries can be viewed instantly with just a swipe on the trackpad. I've never had it crash, hiccup, or otherwise fail to function as intended. Today I purchased the sister app for my iPhone, so now my phone and desktop computer sync my deliveries perfectly.

I remember when this first appeared. It made the rest of the widgets look pedestrian—and still does. I don't know where the future of Apple Widgets is heading, but I would purchase this as standalone app. My wife and I track all our packages via Delivery Status' widget and iPad version. This software is a class-act.

Very good but could be better. One of the most annoying things I find is that sometimes the control buttons don't show up until you click on the widget. It seems they are designed to be shown on rollovers, but this doesn't always work. They only show up when the widget is clicked on somewhere. There have been several times when I was trying to edit the information and instead accidentally hit the close button which deleted the whole thing. I can still retrieve it from the "recently used items" but it's still extremely irritating and time-consuming. I hope the developers will address this issue in the future.

I've been using this Widget for quite some time now. It's extremely useful for tracking package status, especially when dealing with multiple vendors and/or shippers. Sort of one-stop shopping. My only complaint is with those SmartPost packages where FedEx hands off the package to USPS for the final delivery. The information on that last leg is rarely available, accurate, or current. This has more to do with the postal service than the Widget itself. One great feature of the application is that by clicking on the shipment, it takes you directly to the shopper's web site for additional information.

always displays incorrect status info. My item with usps.com says its in transit current in grand rapids Michigan. The delivery status widget with the same tracking info says delivered by yesterday!! Always saying either that or delivered already when in fact its not or delivery status information is not available for your item via this website,when in fact when you check with the same tacking info on the appropriate shippers website it lists it correctly. This widget used to be awesome now it doesn't work well. Maybe the widget connects to one main site that attempts to track packages form all different parcel companies and thats where the errors come from instead of checking the correct individual package sites(EX checking usps.com for usps packages. Also when you click any item just once in the widget the old version would take you immediately to the package carriers website with the tracking info for that particular item,now clicking it brings up a google map of that location. You must be sure to click gently only once and wait a second or two for it to open the actual tracking info and not the map. Why you would ever want to link to the map i cant understand. But hey its free

It works fine for UPS and USPS but not for Amazon packages using the Amazon setting. Using the Amazon setting it fails to find any orders even though it lists them in the drop down menu. It errors out. So I just use the UPS selection for them. Great widget just with that flaw that I've found.

Very useful widget! For some reason, this version installs (in the correct folder) but doesn't appear on my Dashboard. Mysterious.

I really like this simple app. Combine with the iPhone app as well and I can easily keep track of packages. Input on either my Mac or iPhone is easy and with a junecloud account they share the information between.

An essential piece of software. No more rummaging through emails and merchant sites to find tracking numbers. Delivery Status takes care of it all for you.

I have used this widget to track FedEx, UPS, and USPS packages and it has worked exactly as advertised. I certainly appreciate having a widget like this to use to track my packages rather than having to reload the delivery couriers' websites for up to date tracking information. As a side note, the app for the iPhone is a solid app as well. I just wish that one had the same price tag! (donationware)

Best widget I've ever installed, and the only one I use constantly. It's as software should be: simple, and it just works. I only wish Macupdate's rating system went to eleven!

Seems to work correctly. I get a lot of stuff shipped on various carriers. It's been a pain to go to the carriers' sites and input the number. This makes it very easy--and I can't beat the price.

the latest version is horrible!!! doesnt display tracking info for each item as the older version did before flawlessly,now it will constantly say "delivery status information is not available for our item via this website..." even when you track it on usps or other site with the same tracking number that does display correct status info. also when you click one of the items you are tracking it used to take you the corresponding shipper's site and show you the same tracking info or more updated tracking info from the official shipping site(fedex,usps,ups etc) now it only opens google maps for the city and state the item is currently in,totally useless!!! i used to love this program now i hate it :(

After I download this (whether from MacUpdate or the developer's site) and double-click, I get the message, "You can't install the file "Delivery Status.wdgt' because its not a valid widget." Anyone else having this problem?

Well-designed and beautiful both in function and GUI. I can't stress enough how nice and helpful the author was years ago already when I asked him to implement some German services. This thing is … wait for it … purrfect.

This is seriously the best and most useful widgets out there, and one of the few widgets that is still regularly uploaded now that Widgets aren't in vogue anymore. I highly recommend buying the iOS version if you find this as useful as I do. Also, the developer is very friendly and helpful.

It does everything said here and more. But let's lose the annoying "Please Consider A Donation" banner. Either that, or label this software correctly as "Shareware".

I initially have used this (from Australia) as an iPhone app. It works extremely well, on all the services I have looked at, including TNT, UPS, USPS, Amazon, Fedex and Apple. I recently synced it to its server, Junecloud, and now the widget is synced too. Really one of those apps and widgets that just does something really really well. One nice touch on the app (but not the widget) is that, with one click from within the app, it can generate a Google map of where the package is and where you are. Elegant little touch, and the details seem almost all that you could want.

This is a fantastic widget that does exactly what it claims to do. I have never encountered any problems with tracking any UPS, USPS, or FedEx deliveries. I have not tried or tested the other services, but I can attest to the fact that the deliveries I have tracked were accurate, precise, and stable. Thanks to the developer for creating this app. Thanks for the generous price tag too, free is always pretty do-able for me.

As an Amazon Prime member I get a LOT of shipments via UPS (I'm practically on first name terms with my UPS guy) so having Delivery Status as a widget (with growl) and the iPhone app is a blessing. Now I have one app on the desktop and phone that keeps track of all carriers and some virtual storefronts (Amazon, Apple etc) directly. It just works without me even having to think much about it. That's the type of app I love.

I did prefer the former simpler graphics of the dashboard widget, is there a way go get back to these more minimalistic looking plates?

I find this little widget to be the most useful and helpful one I have. I order "stuff" online all the time and like to be able to get frequent status updates without having to go to the UPS or Fed X (etc) tracking sites. The integration with growl notifications is sweet. This app works! It is a great utility that is well supported by the developer.

One of my most used widgets, DS is such a simple yet useful program ou there. Add the inexpensive iPhone/iPodTouch version and you have a complete tracking package that works from the get go.

This is hands-down one of the best widgets ever made for Dashboard. It supports lots of different delivery services, has a great looking design for each one, and uses Growl to notify you of any change of status in a pending delivery. It's easy to use, and it's free! What's not to love about it?

My most-often used widget, and my favorite! Handles every shipping service, and several I've never even heard of! Solid as a rock, easy to use, attractive on screen... what's not to like? The only way this widget could be better is if it was expandable to handle multiple packages, without having to run multiple instances. It's not unusual for me to have 6-10 packages in the air, and it's silly to require 25MB of RAM for each one. (I realize my needs may be a bit extreme, though, so I won't withhold a star for that.)

Can't believe I haven't submitted a review for what is my most favorite widget. Perfect, in every way. To me, it exemplifies what a Dashboard widget should be. And free on top of it all? You really should donate if you haven't already.

Excellent little widget -- works exactly as described for the services I've used it with (Royal Mail and Amazon.co.uk). As well as working great, it looks great too. Very nicely presented. I know there are umpteen different postal services in the world, but I'd really appreciate support for Parcelforce deliveries (www.parcelforce.com) -- the parcel/package-focused branch of the Royal Mail in the UK. As many other UK folk will attest, it's usually a good idea to keep quite close tabs on the progress of Parcelforce packages (they didn't earn their nickname of Parcelfarce for nothing!) Thanks again!

great! this widget works wonderfully. im sure you could add some more features like the other person said, but of all the tracking widgets ive downloaded this is the only one that has worked. everything else just gives me an error message.

great widget, but two improvements would be really helpful. first, it should be easy to figure out which service is used by just looking at the tracking number- google already does this. second, when updating the widget, it would be nice if it could save its state (i.e. current open widgets) before relaunching. as it is now, i have several tracking widgets open now, and when i open a new one i get the 'updated' message and when i click on it to update and install, it closes all the already open delivery status widgets and relaunches with a empty widget, losing all the previously entered information.

The majority of Widgets I find useless and delete within a day's time, or the ones that I do find useful are poorly written, but I still use them as I like the information they convey. However, I still cringe when I use them. Delivery Status is one of the very, very few widgets that is well executed and written, actually works the way it was intended, provides useful information, and is visually elegant and well done. A sheer delight to use and look at!

Great!! works with Australia store as well. I know it wont make my new Mac Pro arrive any quicker but at least it stops me from logging in to the Apple Store every 5 minutes to check :-)
