Since updating OS X to v10.4.11 (iTunes v7.5(19)), Photo Pro 1.5 cannot be applied. The error message I get is: 'ShapeShifter could not create a cache file at the path "[USER_DIR]/Library/Caches/ShapeShifter/Mods/7A6B1D9A-E99D-4A8B-B666-4035326662B2/Themes/PhotoPro-translucent/com.apple.iTunes_iTunes_5003.rsrc" because an unspecified error occurred.' All other themes I've tried can be applied successfully. I've attempted excluding iTunes in ShapeShifter before applying, but I acheive the same results. Anyone else with similar issues, or a fix?

I am having the same problem with the itunes.rsrc thing. i appzapped itunes and it pretends to appy with no errors, but nothing happens and it says that my mods were applied. the only one that works is the xtras menu fix, but thats not a theme....T_T

Is there a possibly that you could release a standalone GUI for garageband, I'm really fond of the look it has... well it could be a tad clearer, such as making the sliders and such easier to see.

i'm still trying to fix the issues with the transparency of the icons in the menu bar. i followed the instructions included with the theme, but i don't quite understand how to "quit" the volume slider or wifi signal strength indicator. i tried removing them from the dock through their individual preference panes but when i put them back they still refused to work. the theme looks really good, but i'm just a tiny bit frustrated with trying to fix these icons.

Found this while searchig for a dark translucent theme ("dark glass" ... it really is matching what I was searching for.... This skin is amazingly simple and on its own focusing the concentration through its subtle darkness. Also the only dark theme that is "bearable" over longer periods of time- I believe the only thing beating this is going to be Leopard, that is, MAYBE ;-)... Had some issues with the menu points being all dark while I am using a dark background as well... didn't quite work out the help the author seems to proivide for this issue in the theme- but I can live with that... there are no MAJOR glitches like in all the other dark apps... thanks!

PhotoPro is the antithesis of UI chrome -- you only see it when you need it. Very easy on the eyes, yet very strong with its sharp, squared edges. I'm with Philsh here, in that PhotoPro is the best dark theme. All others tend to clash with the environment like a poorly matched outfit. This is the first dark skin that I can keep installed. It feels native. Minor issues: 1) Firefox doesn't use Cocoa-style buttons, but for some reason inherits the text color. This leads to white text on gray buttons that's almost unintelligible. This can be fixed by adding the following line to userContent.css: input{ color: #333; } This doesn't fix the color on buttons added via javascript, for sites such as gmail, del.icio.us, and others. I created a greasemonkey script that takes care of this, and will post a link here for when I find a place to host it. I don't think this is something Palli Svansson can fix, since it's more of a Firefox-Cocoa issue. 2) The slider is missing from the built-in OSX color picker, used for various programs such as Adobe Fireworks 8, and many other programs for selecting foreground and background colors. Despite these two issues, one of which I was able to correct, PhotoPro has become an indispensable part of my OSX environment. Thanks Palli!

well i just re-installed shapeshifter tonight and tried to install and run this gui but everytime i have tried (i have restarted and logged out twice already) i get an alert saying this: The mod at "PhotoPro1.4" cannot be used because the guiKit file is too new to read. i thought, ok maybe this was an update, but from the comments i see everyone else seems to have no problem, what should i do?

This has nothing to do with PhotoPro. In Shapeshifters PreferencePane you should have applied default Aqua. You could go to user/Library/Caches and move the Shapeshifter folder to the trash. Restart and empty the trash.
