Allows iCal calendars to be published to Web via FTP/SFTP.

Overview

Scalp... Apple's iCal can help you share your schedule by publishing calendars to .Mac and WebDAV servers. Because .Mac is expensive and WebDAV can be hard to come by, Scalp is a tiny hack for iCal that allows calendars to be published to the Web via FTP and SFTP.

What's new in Scalp

Version 0.7:
  • works with iCal 3.0.5
  • added server version checking to avoid new releases for every small iCal version increment

Requirements for Scalp

  • Intel 32
  • PPC 32
  • or later

As the developer wasn't sure, I can confirm Scalp works perfectly well on an intel machine here :-)

it looks like Scalp provides for free what FTPiCalendar sells, and Scalp interface is 10 times simpler :-)

Scalp allows iCalendar files (with the .ics extension) to be published, just as iCal's built-in publishing feature does.
