About $30 too expensive. If you want a good NZB downloaded use either NZBVortex (gorgeous program that works incredibly well) for $20 or SABnzb+ (very clunky interface accessed via a web browser, but works well) which is free. Stay away from this rip off!

I have been using SuperNZB for a number of years now, and I can categorically say it is the BEST download client I have used by far! The tiny program is easy to install and setting up is a breeze! Simply sign up to your favorite news hosting website and write down the account settings on a piece of paper. Then install SuperNZB and click Settings. Type in your news hosting details and select the appropriate SSL version... and away you go!! I am simply amazed at how fast content can be downloaded using SuperNZB ...! Admittedly the program uses most of your bandwidth resources (making use of other internet based applications slow while SuperNZB is running) but you will certainly not mind as your content can be downloaded so fast that you will not worry about it. You can quickly download what you need, close SuperNZB and get on with the rest of your work/fun! I highly recommend SuperNZB to anyone who needs to download content from the internet FAST!! Easy to setup, easy to use and most of all - online email support from real people who take an interest in supporting a great product!

Having used SuperNZB on a PC for years, It's now time to upgrade my computer, This time I have gone for an IMac. Because SuperNZB is so easy to use, the obvious choice is to carry on using this software on my IMac. With it's simple four choice startup screen, and easy to understand interface, there really is no other choice but SuperNZB.

I already have the PC version of this and am constantly astounded at just how fast it can get, especially with 8 connections. I truly believe it downloads at the very limit of my bandwidth and that makes me very happy. Excellent job of making set up easy as well! I was up and running extremely quickly and I'm getting the Mac version soon.. happy to see it's basically the same running the demo.

I simply love SuperNZB, I've been using it for a couple of years now. Installation is a snap and having a Par and Rar decoder built into the program makes processing files a breeze. The interface is very intuitive and I can't believe how fast it downloads. SuperNZB is the rare program that is actually worth every penny.

Running demo now (only 2 streams). Seems pretty fast and relatively easy to use. Interface is VERY early 90's. I'd buy it if the price was reasonable but $50!!! (actually discounted to $40 today) - the people using NZB files are the ones not willing to shell out the big bucks. If the price dropped to $20 or below, perhaps I consider this but what are these people thinking??

On the TechSono website it is nowhere mentioned that superNZB has to be purchased, let alone its price. I'll stick to the freeware and amazing SABnzbdplus.

The point of using NZB files is so you don't have to wade through (sometimes literally) a million headers in a newsgroup to download your favourite RAR (or other NZB) files. That said, this is a useful, though overpriced and crippled 'til registered, utility. The interface is decidedly spartan, with no frills or Mac-style niceties in the form of fancy widgets or polished windows. It also has somewhat annoying flashing buttons prompting you with what to do next. Set up couldn't be easier however, and if you have decent news server the downloads using NZB files can be blazing. There are cheaper alternatives, but for those with money to burn this is an adequate downloader. By the way, NZB files can be found, usually for a nominal one-time donation, on websites that specialize in certain types of downloads. Typically, there are previews available to help you decide which NZB files will make your download worthwhile. There is really no need to pay a large fee for these files.
