Have you people (who gives the bad ratings) click into this Developer's link before? Take a look on those pictures... These software were made by these monks who lives in Bangladesh. Poor guys probably not have many chances to get their hands on all the latest fancy pants UI Mac OS X software that we people are SO used to in our world!!! And they charge their software all because they use the money to support themselves. Jesus, people! Give these guys a break, huh?

In that case, donationware might be more appropriate. & Jesus doesn't have a whole lot to do with software. ;) 'Monks in Bangladesh'.. well, that's what whoever they are say..

Regardless of your comment, these guys have had almost 10 years now to make the software better (and their website better) and they have not. Cyberduck is a better option.

1. WEB is not an acronym, so shouldn't be all caps. 2. This is just a generic FTP client - there's nothing specifically for web admin in here. 3. This is easily the WORST generic FTP client I've seen in the last 15 years. Clunky, ugly, slow, crashy and generally a pain. Try Cyberduck, or better yet either Transmit or Interarchy - just anything but this.

regarding #1 above: In the UK they don't care; they don't capitalize every letter of an acronym. I know, it's silly, but that's how they distinguish themselves from us in the US. It could be Web or Nasa or Cia, Scsi,or Æthernet or whatever, at least they don't shout using all caps.

I would like to add that in addition to being a useless, inferior FTP client, it also has a really crappy icon.

I really can't beleive this product, who is it aimed at/ There are a number of very good ftp clients that do all this and more in a better interface...Fetch, Transmit and the FREE cyberduck. FREE is the same as free but louder. There is even a free ftp plugin for firefox that i have found very good...a bit windows oriented but good none the less...this I accept works from a technical point of view but not as a copy of a concept.

Useless, expensive garbage. Try CyberDuck for a good, free alternative.

$10 isn't expensive. If you want expensive, you're looking for Dreamweaver, if you want useless AND expensive, you're looking for Pixelmator.

Actually, the W in Web should be capitalized, as it is technically a proper noun which is short for World Wide Web.
