Love Disc Cover, have created and printed a whole host of various disk labels, and printed directly to the disks. Wonderful little tool that I have migrated across 4 machines already and 2 major versions.

In my opinion the most complete and well-rounded, frequently updated app to create covers. The best in its sector.

This is one of the better disk printing programs I have found to date, the only down side is that there are still a few disk label paper sheet types which arn't support, so I have to use a different once which obviously doesn't allign just right :(

Other than that it's great!

Disc Cover has tools that allows you to create custom label paper layout for rare papers that are not in the list. And save it in the program, as well as send this to developer for inclusion in future updates.

Check out Custom Templates, The List of Custom Paper Templates, and Creating a Custom Template sections in Help for step by step instructions.

Trying to make some covers for a video from idvd on lightscribe. tried to follow the tutorial which is not very detailed. imported list of songs from idvd. all mixed up including play and names of buttons. unable to edit the list on the disk. just overall complicated to do simple things. i have better things to do with my time.

Video tutorials don't go into deep details as their main purpose is to provide general understanding of the main features and tools in Disc Cover.

Track list that you import from iTunes can be arranged in the same order as tracks appear in your iTunes. You need to make sure that in import dialog you arrange tracks in the same way you do this in iTunes, ie arrange by Title, Artist, or Album.

Track list can be easily edited as any other text, simply double click on the text box to start text editing.

Disc Cover works great on my iMac G5 PPC, 2.0 Ghz. Really like the addition of an envelope for CDs and DVDs.

Never had any trouble with stability at all. I recommend this to anyone.

I have been using this product for well over 2 years (started with v1.x) and it has worked great and it has some of the best tools to use. It integrates wonderfully with iLife and I haven't had it crash on me at all. I use it on a Canon 4200 with Direct CD printing.

This is by far the most unstable piece of software I have ever tried to work with. It crashes daily, or even more often (after wake-up from sleep), it handles text frames absolutely idiotically (the text would fit on the disc, but the app extinguishes it), you can't configure it (text or other default values)...

Don't pay a cent for this!

NESSUNO, I suggest you update the program to the latest version which may fix the problem you have with program crashes. You may also contact our support and they may be able to assist you to solve the problem you have.

As for the use of text boxes, I think you haven't really learned the way the program works. The app does not hide any portion of the text that can be fitted on the disc. Unless you set Outer or Inner margins in such a way that Text Wrap causes text to flow down within the text box. These margins can be adjusted from Design Element tab of the Inspector.

It's not clear as well what you mean by not being able to configure text or other default values. Most text settings are accessible from Text tab of the Inspector.

If you want to learn how to work with the program, you can check out short video tutorials available on BeLight web site, read manual or ask our tech support any question you may have.

The problem - besides stability - with text wrapping is that text portions are hidden that obviously WOULD fit on the disc. But D.C. insists that it's more intelligent than me. So it forces me to cut / paste text in portions, which is ridiculous.

I don't understand the problem you have, did you read the reply above? If adjusting Outer and Inner margins didn't solve the problem, can you send me an email describing the problem in more details and maybe you can send a screenshot illustrating this?
