- A new DOGFIGHT flight mode lets you quickly generate an encounter from either a difficulty level or a detailed set of parameters.
- Realistic simulation of radar signal filtering allows use of real-world "notch" techniques to evade inbound radar-guided missiles.
- New AI (artificial intelligence) dramatically improves AI piloting technique.
- Improvements to GUN mode provide a highly realistic gun "funnel" display in the HUD as well as an improved gun pipper.
- For those using a game controller: Press the PAUSE button on your game controller while a controller menu is open to freeze all simulation and menu actions while you study the menu hierarchy.
- A second countermeasures pod was added, doubling your chaff and flare capacity to 60 each.
- Other improvements and bug fixes were made.

FA18 Hornet Fighter Jet is an iOS only app. It would be nice for Graphsim to make a macOS version, but as things stand this app does not belong on Macupdate.
