Recognizes my iPod Photo but not my iPod Video 5.0g. If I manually type in the Serial it gives me the date of manufacture of the iPod video but not where it was made.
Doesn't give a place of manufacture for my new iMac, but does give an approximate build date. By the way, the download is just 73.4KB, not 73.4MB as it currently shows.

Just a small tip to US users: the date reported is in European date order: day, month, year.
For the longest time I thought my machine was made during an interval between April and October, when I really was during the first week of March.
To find where your shuffle was built, it's embossed in the USB protection cap. Need to get the right reflection of light to see it, and it's small, but it's there
a needed update-previously it said my ipod was made in the USA, which i know is not true. it now says china, which is more believable (although i thought they were made in taiwan).
Displays my Mac's creation date and place just fine. Doesn't read my iPod when I connect it, however. Does it need to be plugged directly into the internal FireWire port [G4 TiBook and 3G iPod]?
Works as advertised. I like the little touch of adding the flag for the country of origin. Nice.
And Jim W - you must feel like an idiot. DD-MM-YY, you know? Even a 2 year old can figure that one out.
