Widget displays memory stats history graph.

Overview

qMEM is a small, yet powerful widget that keeps track of your memory usage. qMEM is resizable and can be configured to fit just your needs.

You can use qMEM as a short memory history or simply as a quick way of estimating your current memory usage.

What's new in qMEM

  • Fixed bug that would make the widget not work on computers with more then 1G of memory (Thanks to Tom McIntosh and Ian Hopkins for helping debug this issue).
  • Fixed the color of the text below the memory bar.
  • Replaced total memory with inactive memory in the textual memory representation.
  • Added possibility to show inactive memory as part of the graph.
  • Fixed issue that would make the widget show wrong memory numbers when near 100% of the memory was in use.

Has anyone actually gotten this thing to work? If so, please tell me how. I sure can't and other than rebooting, I tried every trick I know.

Works fine for me on an AlBook running OS X 10.4.1. Beautiful widget, good space use. I do have two suggestions though: - Put some gaps in when measurements aren't being made in the background. Even just a vertical line would be enough - something to indicate that the timespan the graph covers isn't seamless. - Shade the area beneath the second line a little darker, just so it stands out a little more. That second line is pretty faint by itself. If people really wanted it (I do use Activity Monitor to check up on it occasionally if things seem a little boggy), I suppose another feature would be to show the top 3 memory-using apps similar to what qCPU does instead of/in addition to overall memory stats.

Thanks for the good replay :) I really like the whole idea about having a gab in the timeline and the whole shade idea is not that bad eighter. Well i thin we atleast two new features for the next version of qMEM and qCPU

Still doesn't work under 10.4.1. The widget just sits there displaying nothing; can change the options, but it has no effect.
