Overview

Iterit is a powerful application which allows the user to explore and analyze the behavior of custom set functions when recursively iterating through them.

Featuring the ability to create time series of a function, as well as a logistic map, along with the ability to geometrically illustrate iterations, Iterit is a must have for every mathematician or engineer.

What's new in Iterit

Version 2.0:
  • Renamed to Iterit (thus changed Icon).
  • Added ability to explore geometric iterations of the function.
  • Added Time series feature.
  • Function can now be set by the user.

Man, this is the app to have. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to explore and analyze the behavior of custom set functions when recursively iterating through them. Brilliant.

This one is called the "Logistic Map", fellas. Sure there's a Feigenbaum number in there somewhere, but your CMD-F doesn't do squat yet. And that parameter applies to many other fractal systems as well. Nice performance. Is it Open-GL?

1st: you can disable the version checking from the preferences. 2nd: It doesn't lock. It just processes the zooming which requires quite some CPU power.
