Wire Hang Redux overview

Wire Hang Redux is a remake of the excellent Wire Hang game, in which you must climb up an never ending series of platforms using a grapling hook. If you fall it's 'game over' - a simple yet thoroughly addictive concept! The mouse is used to control your aim and to fire the hook. Wire Hang Redux was written using BlitzMax.

Just a small note: this isn't actually a Universal app (the last build was from before the Intel switch was even announced!); however, it runs perfectly well on Intel Macs regardless.

Looks nice, but needs tweaking: 1. trackpad control is awful. Range should be -45º to +45º, not -90º to +90º, and mouse should control the range from the left to the right of the window, not as a target in 2 dimensions. And please hide the pointer when it's over the window! 2. window is too small to do the game justice. I hope there's more to it than a bunch of jumping. This would make an ideal iPod game.
